TASB-THE GRINCH ALL YEAR!

In adding to the corruption and the things that keep us from truly removing board members and getting them to do what we want.

TASB has been a thorn in FWISD with their interpretation of rules and laws and their complete monopoly of policies that are adopted by school boards.  They are part of the corrupt system that we endure here in FWISD.

We need more control, that is the people and legislators need to remove TASB from having so much power.

Our board members have been indoctrinated enough to be corrupted.

THE WATCHDOGS SAY CORRUPTION IS RAMPANT!

Let's recall briefly when we thought the Department of Education, local District Attorney and state agencies were coming to look up the corruption of FWISD.  Politics got in the way and the politicians killed the investigations.

Now there are new entities that are looking at how corruptive our district is and while it may not single it out, it does show that eyes are looking.

The Dallas Morning News ran a very important story on how local school boards have been allowed to ruin how districts are run and lost the focus on students.  You hear the words it's for the student but they are hollow because it becomes nepotism and a badge of honor rather than an action.
http://www.dallasnews.com/news/watchdog/2016/12/09/dishonor-roll-former-fbi-agent-turned-texas-public-school-investigator-sees-corruption-close

We hope law and order comes to FWISD, don't forget how Ramos and Paz got full rides to TCU, family members, etc.  Basically selling their soul.

Then we have our board and super going back to class to really try and learn how to govern and help improve student outcomes.  It so happens that the school districts selected were because school are still failing and the turnaround plans were UNACCEPTABLE.  So we recall that the failed principal Hall and then Monge were the ones responsible for the plans.  Why did we think they would, they have nothing in their resume to show that they have helped turn around schools or anything remotely close.  So the board and super get to spend two days going over how they will make schools better.  If the schools do not do better then TEA can come in and if miracles do happen they can come in and take over.  Then we find out that some board members have no clue what is going on, shocker, that they wanted to know why they are going to this training.  One responded that they didn't fudge the numbers well enough so now they are stuck.  We know the district doesn't show the numbers because unless you study them well, they are not there.  Then Scribner says that scores are improving yet they never show them.  We have always asked for the numbers and only until the end of the year in June do we hear about it and by then Moss is asking again, what will be different next year and the cycle continues.

NEW TRIAL SET FOR MAY 9, 2017- CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR

Well as reported in comments the new trial, by the request of FWISD, is set for May 9, 2017.  The pre-trial was Monday and a mediation has been ordered by the judge for April 15th.  FWISD has informed Palazzolo that they will file another appeal if the Supreme Court does not grant their motion.  So they are trying to delay again for what they asked for and got.

Can we put this in Scribner's contract to stop the bleeding?

More money and another year!

SCRIBNER GETS 5 YEARS!

It almost sounded like 5 years to life which is how it feels for most who are working under deplorable conditions.
Last night the board decide to give him a 5 year contract to "start focusing on student achievement."  Almost quoted exactly  which means he has not been doing anything right now so in order to get it done he needed more time.  Kind of hard to focus on something when you have not developed strategies beyond names and themes of things that will improve academics in the district.

Why do you need to be bribed?  Why can't you just do what is needed because that's what you truly feel?  This tells us that you are not concerned with anything other than cashing in because no matter what, unless you truly do something stupid, you get to earn more than a million dollars in the time you are here.  You have the same people doing the same things and even the new ones have made nothing different.  What is different?  What will be different?  Why can't we have the facts of what is going on?

Can't wait to see next year after elections to hopefully start pushing people out!!

Why can't we as educators get a guarantee of a job with more money?

EARLY CHRISTMAS FOR SCRIBNER, THE TRIAL, SPED AND WORTHLESS RAMOS

Well folks Sutherland has indicated that the board will consider a pay raise for Scribner at the next workshop.  We shot the word around to principals and the big questions is FOR WHAT?
yes, the question is what is he getting a raise for?
What has improved for anyone that merits him receiving more money when the little guy gets close to nothing after benefits, taxes, etc.  We hear DII is a mess and for sure don't hear what progress has been made by students.  You have overcrowded classrooms and more programs.

The board really needs to look at this first and really ask for the hard numbers because accountability wise the schools are not doing better, more and more programs are added and heavy top central admin.  At this point we should be saving money and giving it to the classrooms and teachers.  This is a slap in the face for the hard working employees who are not in Central Office.

While Scribner needs more money for his coal, the district continues to waste money on Palazzolo.  It seems the district twice failed to appeal on time and effectively that now they are desperate to figure out how to avoid the trial altogether.  We published their intent to have the case dismissed based on new case law they got from somewhere and now contend that Palazzolo used the Chapter 21 proceedings, grievance process, and that should be it since the board voted him out.  The question in those documents is they mention "teacher" and not administrator.  Most administrators, correct us if we are wrong, do not fall under the same protections as teachers.  Our understanding is anyone can file a grievance and have the use of the courts or other entities.  Anyway, the reasoning is so bad that the court rejected the file because they didn't do it right, even the most common practices were done badly by the high paid lawyers.  We told you hire some monkeys!
So more money to correct their mistakes.  Just go to trial and get it over with, if you are so confident, what are you afraid of?

Special ED on the news and currently being investigated by the Houston Chronicle for underserving sped students in FWISD.
We know  many students are not served because of the bad process in the district.  Teachers would do their part in documenting and having to go through the RTI process just to be denied at the very end.  Too many loopholes and no support.  If you have not gotten the information teachers, TEA has informed districts that RTI is no longer needed to make a request for SPED.  All it takes is a formal request and the district must begin the process.  RTI is good for students who struggle but not THE determinant for students who have an intellectual disability.
Dr. Sutherland, we need the district to fess up because we will provide information to the newspaper on how the district has not served our students well and yet Scribner is going to get a raise?  Lack of leadership should not be rewarded.

RAMOS TAKES CREDIT
We wanted to make sure we highlighted this posting of how Ramos works the cameras like Jackson did to make sure he gets pictures for his re-election bid.  Don't be fooled folks, he has done nothing outside of his circle of friends and cronies and yet does this...

THANKSGIVING READ: FWISD PUTS CHILDREN IN HARMS WAY, ACCOUNTABILITY RESULTS AND SAL ESPINO

Well by now you must be sleeping in or running out of town on this much deserved break from the craziness that is FWISD.

You also have probably already read and seen what FWISD has done to cover up convicted pedophiles and abusers.  The latest is from a teacher whom OPS knew, again, about their record of abuse and the abuses and yet allowed him to move on.  This is nothing new as wee see with the coach who is still employed after OPS found enough information but our board allowed on 5-3 decision to stay.

No surprise that filth fills the halls of central administration and our children and good employees are paying the price.  These same board members and superintendent have no balls, yes ladies, to do what is right because they are bought.  They have no decency, dignity or integrity to hold offices that only hurt children not help.  You are deplorable all the way!!

http://www.wfaa.com/news/news-8-uncovers-new-abuse-allegation-of-convicted-teacher/351892993

Besides that, the final accountability ratings came out and it's no better if not worse than before.
While we took a look at all the schools who met standard, etc.  We found that additional schools did not meet index 1 or 2 and if the state had followed their recommendations these schools would be improvement required.  Regardless of the  met standard those schools are still not performing.  So overall, a total of 40 schools are not improving even the schools who have dual language programs who were supposed to show promise by now.  So don't be fooled by the, oh schools who have not met standard are suddenly making progress, no sir, the schools improved but not to the level needed because the board and administration don't care, don't know or care to know and have no idea how to improve.

And finally:
The Mexican Mafia circles tell us that Sal Espino, councilman, will be running for for Mayor the next time around.  He is a staunch supporter of the BAM Board President and part of the filth that has kept our communities dumb and uninformed, used for votes that have not brought anything to benefit them.  So let's get ready to oppose!  Latino or not, doesn't deserve to represent anyone.

THE TRIAL APPEALS KEEP GOING, HERE IS THE LATEST!

Just a quick snippet of what the law hired hand is doing with the Palazzolo trial.

The district is once again attempting to delay the trial by asking for another appeal for the new trial.  Remember that for the past two years they have ignored the settlements and also mediation.

The smart ones decided to let the clock run out on the appeal and now want Palazzolo team to approve an extension.  They first have to file a motion request permission to file an untimely appeal which they will oppose but the bill keeps on going up and Brandt just keeps getting richer each time.

Just read the appeal and get a laugh at the reasons FWISD asking for more delays. LOL a monkey could do better.

SEE SCRIBNER RESPONSE TO ACHIEVE 3000 and THE KILLING OF TEACHER AND STUDENT CREATIVITY

**Administration still does not learn from the past and the new people don't seem to change direction.  Another program sent to save our kiddos and yet it becomes a compliance task to say that you did something.  A computer program does not replace the teacher and you not allowing teachers to use the program to supplement is going to kill learning.

Dear Board Members,

I have reviewed the recent chain of emails related to Achieve3000.

To assist with the rollout, we provided campuses with flexibility. Schools are implementing more than one classroom model of Achieve3000. The post shared in the email chain seems to assume there is only one-model.

We told principals that adjustments could be made at the campus level to compensate for technological capacity and teacher proficiency with technology. The primary differentiating factor between Achieve3000 and a campus leveled reading library is that Achieve3000 provides students, parents, and teachers with students’ specific reading levels (Lexiles).

Unfortunately, it is true there are students in upper elementary who still are beginning readers, and Achieve3000 will not rescue them on its own. Achieve3000 is only one part of core curriculum in FWISD. A balanced literacy approach is still part of our core curriculum, and those students will require quality instruction by our teachers and leveled readers to scaffold them quickly so they can engage with the reading passages and work toward reading at their actual grade level.

Achieve3000 is currently available district-wide on multiple platforms and has been performing effectively, according to many faculty and staff.  We currently have 1:1 at High Schools, as well as the computer labs and libraries for those students who have not received their laptops.  In our Middle Schools, currently there is a 3:1 computer to student ratio with plans on adding additional Computers on Wheels (COWS).  In our Elementary campuses, we are using the Virtual Desktops for this solution, as well as several other applications and are striving to further bolster our technological infrastructure.

We will monitor this closely and keep you informed.

TIME OUT FOR SOME POLITICS: RAMOS-ROMERO-ESPINO=BAM LEADERS

Oh how ironic is life when it comes to the politicians that run our city and those that attempt to and are not qualified.

So have you heard about the state investigation into voter fraud from the past few local elections?
http://www.fwweekly.com/2016/11/02/left-right-left-right-left/

It so happens that we discussed how Tobi Jackson got elected twice which included raiding nursing homes and doing the same exact thing being alleged now.  Taking the mail ballots of the elderly and "helping" by showing how to vote and then mailing them.  It makes sense that Tobi won such a high vote in this last election when she is despised outside of her elite circle of friends.

Then comes Lon Burnam who lost his election against Ramon Romero for State Rep by not many votes.  He sued alleging voter fraud for the same thing, this time it was using iPads for voters to sign their ballots or documents when it is illegal.  He dropped the suit but oh here we go.

Folks, the Northside of town is run by the same people who were present at Romero's event, which were less than 30 because that's how they suppress the vote.  How do you think Ramos won?  It is no surprise of the dirty tactics the Mexican mafia uses against people who are not in their inner circle.  Now they are crying because, if found true, although we know it is, it opens a pandora box.  You can add every democrat official elected to the same tactics to include Espino and De Leon, etc.

Just watch their Facebook pages and look to see who supports them.  You have Domingo Garcia who is a fraud himself, look how he treated Veasey the first run at Congress.  Now you see the Mexican Mafia around Veasey, run far away from them.

The same voters they say they are protecting from the far right people are the same ones they use each election and then when they need help in between they are left to burn.  Just look at FWISD and how employees have been hurt by the Board and no one to help them.  Ramos is the leader and the rest of the cronies are running the district at their expense.  We want Hispanic representatives and they for sure are not quality by any means.

We hope the attorney general finds something wrong so that we can begin to cut the ties and start seeing some change.  Stand for Fort Worth- start raising the cash to run the crooks out.

Thank you FW Weekly!
How does it feel now Romero?

BOARD VOTES 5-3 TO KEEP TEACHER WITH IMPROPER STUDENT RELATIONSHIP

This story does not surprise us of course and we seem to repeat and repeat the same thing each time something happens.  The nipple pinching principal, teacher runs away with student, hired teachers with bad backgrounds and they just ship them away.  Can you imagine having a District of Innovation with more autonony?

http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/education/article111056127.html

The board had enough evidence that regardless of any sexual contact between Cole and the student, there was an improper relationship or comments made that violate the district's and state's code of conduct.  OPS even confirmed it.  Dansby did not want to hire him and the board pushed him to do so.

Palazzolo did not do anything close to his and they dug dirt on him and look at where we are.  The district board sets different standards for different people.  Here is someone known to violate rules and yet he is still employed.  As the board runs the district, it does not make sense that this is still happening.

So Tobi Jackson voted not to terminate and we know why, look at who voted for and against.

We know the ones who voted for termination did so for political reasons or a deal was made because Ramos has ties to the East Side.  Regardless, this should not have happened.  A young lady decided not to pursue because she was tired of the harassment and wouldn't doubt if the board members had something to do with it.  As you read the story, the grandmother wanted her to talk but she will not.

Shame on you board!  We will remind you of the culture you have built during election time.  Where are the city leaders?  Where is the mayor, wait she loves Jackson so nothing there.  Where is the outrage from the parents? community?

LYIN Jackson

Election time is a great opportunity for Board Members to come and lie to your face.  Letting you know that they have supported you and have done amazing things.  We know they lie because they don't even believe in students and for the most part believe that they deserve better.

We know Ramos' kids would not be in public schools had he not been a board member nor receive the perks that have come their way.

Then we have Tobi who has had the luxury of moving her kids around the district to the best schools.  Now we find out that her kids have gone to The Oakridge School, a private school.  Then she posts on her twitter that she wants better playing fields and advocating for them.  She is pushing SPARC down the district's throat and Ramos YAP, yet it's not good enough for their own kids but push it for the rest.

This is the disconnect that we have with the haves and have nots and Jackson and Ramos don't believe they fall into that category.. Both have lost the narrative of being for the people but only when it doesn't affect them.  Such a sad state of affairs people.

So overall they push programs to all FWISD children and sit on the sidelines getting perks on the backs of our kids.

CULTURAL BIGOTRY at the Highest Levels in FWISD

We know that money talks big in FWISD as does Fort Worth for that matter.  The promise by the Cultural Savior Ramos, was to create a better environment and recognition of what needed to be fixed in the district.  What we have gotten for the past 3 years is more of the same and then worse.  The man who prides himself in training the board on cultural matters, etc. has been driving his own district into haves and have nots for his own benefit and those that have his allegiance.  Yes that includes many politicians at all levels of government because they condone what is happening to our district. Recall that his kids would not be in FWISD had he not been on the board which was a political move because he would not have done so in the suburbs where he has a residence.

We have many upset parents on the Northside of town that Ramos represents, who have seen their own children chided and treated like second class members of this district.  Students were invited to a forum at TCU recently and Paschal and Northside were well represented and more than that, treated to front and center, areas labeled for them etc.  Well others from Diamond Hill, and other high schools were just to be seated on the side and around the rest.  So the top two schools were given a grand welcome and the rest don’t matter.  This is very symbolic of what has transpired in this administration and current leadership. They represent the two schools where they get their money support and of course great deals from TCU.  Did you read the article about TCU adding a diversity official?  That tells you a lot, let me guess will it be a Ramos or someone close to him that will fill the spot to make it look like, they have a minority friend and they are not racist?
So below you have a district employee who has an opinion about immigrants in an area where immigrant children attend schools in the lovely JP Elder.  So Mr. Ramos, what say you about this type of bigotry?

Absent is the Superintendent who has become another puppet in waiting for the next big thing in Washington.  He was hired to continue to cover up because if he had done what he promised then we wouldn’t be where we are now.  Masking incompetence with a reading initiative and District of Innovation is not a solution it’s a cop out.  We know the issues we have, nothing new, but have not had the leadership to deal with it head on.  The plan will be in place, cronies will pocket money and children still behind.  Hence the program that does not support dual language students who will go a year with support and the data shows that the students who were to outperform everyone else are lagging.  Maybe he can at least focus on the blotted administration who has many Assistant Directors in small departments and do nothing because the little guys are doing the leg work.  Example Student Discipline has a high paying director to sit and let the other do the work.  When is the new HCM person going to change things?  Once again admin is top heavy and yet they complain there is no money.

What we have FWISD are divisive tactics meant to disparage students who have no representation and those that continue to advocate are mistreated by the same people who stand up and say they are for the people they represent.  So politicians like Espino, Romero and others have no spine and are merely ceremonial because they do not stand for anything.  Only when it suits them will they say something but now they are silent.  It seems that they follow the Trump tactic perfectly because the money flows from the same bigot spigot.    So our new slogan is not On Purpose, it’s Let’s Make FWISD Great Again… that would resonate with many and shows you how our parents on the Northside are treated by the Ramos Corrupt Machine.  RCM

FWISD BRIEFING: ACHIEVE 3000, RAMOS RE-ELECTION BID

Well the people making decision about what students need for some reason don't have experience or they forgot everything.  The latest debacle comes from Achieve 3000 purchased from a friend of a friend of Scribner and the person who thought Spanish support meant that it had a Spanish side for the dual language students, WRONG!  So the district purchased an expensive product that does not have what it needs and an email went out stating that there is another product purchased that could serve in the mean time while they get their crap together.  So where is the accountability? Who is getting fired for this?  No one because once in upper management you stay there, hence retire-rehires.  We will post the email sent to the schools if we get our hands on it...

Word has it that Ramos has decided to run again.  We figured he would because he has two kids that need to get into TCU so it may be a while unless he gets promoted to another position.  Interesting how he balances some Trump surrogates financing his way to re-election and say he is for the latinos.. that would be an interesting pitch.  Stand Fort Worth needs to put lots of pressure!

DISTRICT OF INNOVATION
Stay awake everybody because they are planning how to clean house with teachers or employees they don't like if they can be exempt from many current laws that protect teachers.  Don't believe anything they say, they are liars.. We will be watching and call them out.

FWISD CONSIDERING DISTRICT OF INNOVATION DESIGNATION: UPDATE

https://www.tasb.org/Services/Legal-Services/TASB-School-Law-eSource/Governance/Districts-of-Innovation.aspx

STAY INFORMED
******************************

Dr. Sutherland posted on her blog what the district is considering soon if not already to be come a District of Innovation.  This hefty title is nothing more than gutting the rights that currently exist for teachers and many employees.  Keep in mind that central admin people are not affected in any way because they hold the power and it always boils down to the workers who are actually doing their job.

It is true that class sizes, teacher contracts and so forth can be affected because the district would be exempt from following them.  In some cases it may be no different than what they do for Bilingual or ESL classes when they ask for exemptions.   Some of the provisions of Innovation are meant to help districts recruit better or seek reprieve from some of the states dumb rules for certifications.  Yet that could go the other way and recruit people without certification while everyone else has already spent money and years to earn the right to be a teacher.

How can Fort Worth ask for this when they can't even get the basic things right?  The district, if the board approves the move, would need to create committees that have representation from all people in the district and eventually parents.  The board will need to have final approval once they have met the state requirements in the plan.  If we know Fort Worth, they will make it look like they are getting input and then dump it and go their way.

We can already see the board and central office filing their nails to get rid of the people they want.  The district would not have to go through the processes it has if protections for teachers are taken away.  We need to fight this however possible and parents need to as well because the board would have more power to do as they please without due process. They will spin this all they want and say it's for the children when nothing about it talks about supporting students monetarily or intentional with actual support.  This is a way to save money on the backs of teachers.

If you think trying to file complaints is hard now, might as well not even think it with the designation.  Authentic authoritarian rule would occur... Neeham and crew love it!

THE FRAUD EXPERTS AT FWISD

We know that Scribner has lost any type of control of the district by allowing the board to run the district.  While he  may not want to get them mad, then why are you in charge?  Scribner said he would work with the board but run the district.  Nothing has changed.

So now we have three people who have become the untouchables

Kevin Green
*is paying himself overtime for work done by others, so he is breaking laws and policies

Look two exemplary people!

Michael Steinert
*bringing all his people from MHMR and we know all the crap that he has done or failed to do in support of students.

Kyle Davie
*Buying equipment and hiding it.  Remember there are warehouses full of them.  Neeham told Scribner to stop the audit and so now he can get away with anything.  Where is Sutherland?  I thought she was part of that committee.

These are Needham’s boys.

The audits have stopped by order of Needham into technology equipment, labor law violations, embezzlement and so forth.  Institutional racism is alive and well among other things happening to the people who get paid less and are asked to work more.

President Ramos, where are you?  Why are you not standing up for the people you claim to defend?  There are people being mistreated and yet you stay silent.  If you would stop traveling and actually talk to the people at the bottom you might learn that they are having it rough.  The employees below Central Office have no voice.

WE ARE GOING TO TRIAL!

After trying to have the Palazzolo case dismissed, the court denied their motion and we go to trial. The motions filed could have been better written by a fifth grader and with reasonable substance. More money to spend by the district. Insurance pays, not!

Below we have the two motions FWISD filed and the court decision
The facts will come out at trial stay tuned.

RAMOS SELECTED AS GRAND MARSHAL OF September 16 PARADE

Why is it significant?

Not so much that it is for a majority but just to highlight  the demise of what was to be a mark of change and ended up a disaster. The savior of the poor Latino community became the sellout to the elite or better said a puppet. All came with perks of jobs and full ride scholarships for kids.

Interesting that he didn't attend public schools and until elected kids started in Northside schools only to overtake students who didn't have the choice. Now he will parade around people who have not benefitted from anything other than his own circle who have jobs etc. He is pushing for a political life which he said he was not a politician but has been a sell out on that.

Are things any better for you?

FWISD TO APPEAL DECISION THEY SOUGHT

The mighty Fort Worth legal team has informed the other side that they will ask the court to delay the  decision for a new trial. If the court denies it they are going to appeal to Supreme Court. Can this get any crazier?  You asked for a trial and you get it and now you want to delay, delay, delay. Once again a decision made by an unelected official who has power over the entire FWISD.

Can anyone stop the madness?

THE SETTLEMENT TIME FORGOT: BRANDT HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO

So here is the settlement offer made by the Palazzolo team which was made in writing to Brandt with the figures of the trial award with applicable fees that are a standard practice.  So no it is not something extra other than what any lawyer, court would expect it to be since it has been just a few more years than normal.

So what do you say Dr. Sutherland, can you please take this to the Bar Association Ethics Commission and get Brandt to do his job of advising not dictating.

WORD ON THE STREET: HALT DII and MORE SECRECY TACTICS

It has come to our attention that Directors TEXTED principals and others to halt DII for the moment.  Apparently there is an issue with lessons and they were told to seize.  We knew it was a disaster from the get go because it is stuff just thrown in without seeing how it fits the district.  We reported on it before, so no surprise here.

What was also interesting here is that TEXTS are being used more often to send information and not email.  We know this has to do with FOIA requests that can occur so now they are hiding information.  But let's not forget that some individuals get a phone stipend and so if that's the case then no information is private when using district money.

Dr. Sutherland, can we find out who receives the stipend?  Principals? Directors, etc?  Now the district is resorting to hiding more and not being accountable to taxpayers.

JUST OUR TWO CENTS

Alright, we have seen the many comments about the current Palazzolo issue, Stand for Fort Worth, etc.

We are not sure why Dr. Sutherland does not speak specifically to the  matter during the board meeting and we can think of many reasons.  Let's give some credit that she is posting on her blog even if it's not everything we want but it's there.  We know the board members have pushed her around to stay quiet because they want it all hush hush.  The Palazzolo case is going to trial and more money in the pocket of lawyers.  WE all know with evidence that the board is being lied to and then lying to the public about how the money is being spent.  The thing here is that we have no way to hold them accountable for the money because any audit has to be approved by the board since we have no independent auditor.

So this is where Stand for Fort Worth comes into play.  Yes there are probably issues we don't agree with and it all stems from the transgender policy.  We know that Scribner and Ramos chose to use our students for political points and it may help in some way but it ended up being a disaster because they didn't think it through.  They put our students in danger more now than ever.
But this has opened an opportunity for board members to feel the heat and we need to agree to disagree on certain things and fight our battles well.  It is time to clean house and if this organization has the money and the backing of the public then let's do it.  If we are truly wanting change then let it happen and let's continue to be vigilant about our students.

It's time to end Cronyism, Nepotism, and everything else that has plagued our district.

DISTRICT CONTINUES DIRTY TACTICS WITH PALAZZOLO CASE

The district refused to accept or at least check out the offer made and instead of discussing a way to end it, it filed a motion yesterday for the case to be thrown out of court.  Which we don't get because the district asked and got a new trial.

So what the hell is going on?  Dr. Sutherland we need to know, can the public know more and end the litigation?

Just who is the New HCM Chief?

As with anything that comes out of FWISD, not surprised the type of people they surround themselves with and so we wanted to highlight some of the same type of dealings that we have had to who is coming in to fill the post.

Cynthia Rincon is coming from Fort Bend ISD as the legal counsel there and served about 3 years in HR.  Our concern is the legal stuff she dealt with and used to shield secrets like our own FWISD.

We shall see what she will do but the record is clear.  Dr. Sutherland we need a close eye on this individual.

The Future of our Students reflected by President Ramos? A beer, a cigar and his real mission

Words can't express more the disgust with what our leaders are doing to the district.  This coming from someone who came in robed with a mantle of change and ended up being the same old thing times 2. Here you have Ramos who is traveling the world, who knows who is funding it and has all the time in the world when before he was barely making ends meet.

He is the false prophet if he ever deserves any title.  The message about culture that he brings is all about his BAM message, Bad Ass Mexican and the Mexican Mafia that surrounds him.  Who is paying for the workshops he is bringing?  How much conflict of interest is there when some of the people who train are his friends?

The time has come to end the charade.

Board Meeting Highlights: CAN WE SAY THE SHIP IS CRUMBLING!

If we had a chance to throw rotten tomatoes at what we see on the board, it be a tomato bath...

Everything we hear is we think, we believe, etc. and nothing is absolute with facts or anything to back it up.

The following videos show some of the more interesting things about how poorly managed and informed this district is and the governance not even up to par.. can we also get our board members to dress the part of leaders?  Any fashionistas out there that can give some advice?

So the last section of the board was a grievance heard and it was long so we are not publishing it, just commenting.  So UPN grieved that the RFP process for a hub was unfair because the RFP asked for something and the district chose something else.  The district sure does not have good presenters because their argument was lame.  Anyway, if the RFP process is not done correctly then the district could lose E-Rate money like Moss indicated has happened before.  The district is not worried about it because they feel regardless they did it right but from the outside looking in, something wasn't done right.
Apparently the other vendors did understand the RFP by the design they made not so much the writing on the plan.  So the district says no matter what was written just look at our drawing and you will get it.  But in it the district acknowledges it did choose something else and then tried to make UPN look worse by saying well those points are not the only things they didn't get points on other things so it shouldn't matter.  Typical FWISD!  So now the district is at risk of losing funds by Kyle who lord knows has done horribly at keeping technology on the right path.  So that doesn't surprise us.

Now to the videos.. discipline, no real training plan, etc. etc.  See how our leaders just get around to answering the questions and have no idea what is going on.  Sad!

Looks like the board wants more information on this because it's not showing what will be done to help curtail discipline.

Typical of not informing well the board and just asking for approval but they want more and sadly no great responses.

Moss does bring up good points but no good resolutions to the questions.  Can we get the scores?  What's going to be different this year?
