  1. Go JOEL! Finally a voice for the people. Eastside schools te necesitan! Current board member won't even allow her OWN children to attend the schools she represents!!! That speaks volumes of her morals and integrity.

  2. Tobi Jackson's kids do NOT attend the schools she represents??? Ran Prime Academy- A PRIVATE SCHOOL??? Worked at a college that ruined people's lives and took their money!!! Eastside Fort Worth residents voted for her?

  3. Is Needham up for re-election?

  4. Yes. Hoping SOMEONE will step up. Needham has single-handedly destroyed this ISD. Her and her minions (Robbins, Jackson, Avilla, Ramos, Paz, and house workers Sims and Moss) are all funded by the puppeteers on 7th Street which include Ray Dickerson and Bill Koehler. What a coincidence MJ (an proven educational failure) is made "resident scholar" of TCU (after her humiliating resignation) followed by that amoral womanizer who is now an "adjunct professor" after agreeing to silence his opposition to the Terrell move.. This is one sick and twisted group of individuals. It wasn't enough to destroy this ISD now they are working on TCU.

Yes she is also up for re-election. We need someone to run against her. Last week to file.

  6. Will ANYONE have the guts to run against her? There seems to be a lot of dislike for her and her mismanaged lead of this district, but wil anyone take a stand for this district? Or are we going to allow how many more years to be ruined by her?

  7. Just look at the ISD's district maps. Have you ever seen anything so contrived and rigged in your life? Most of Needham's $$$ support comes from privileged white folk whose children are long gone from the nest or do not go to public school. She has no business being on the BOARD.
I just hope CIA publishes the photo of Needham in bed with her good buddy Izzy Perry. That would take some fancy "splaining".

  8. Well I believe Tuesday night will be yet another test of Board integrity (actually a display of lack thereof). Will they vote on Palazzolo? Will they continue to waste our $$$? Will someone besides Ann Sutherland stand up for what is right? This would be the time Ashley......... we all know which way Tobi is going.

  9. Hmmm...Sultan Cole currently has a child at Paschal as well. Is this a concern?

  10. Does anyone know the answer to the question, "Wonder why he left (FWISD)?" I would be curious to know myself. Also, does anyone know why he uses three different names? In my research I've seen him call himself Joel Aguilar, Joel Aguilar Villaneuva and Joel Aguilar-Villaneuva. Also, is there a complete bio available on him? All I can find is bits and pieces from the last 2-3 years, but nothing at all complete. Oh, and by the way, if people are going to get snarky about the age of candidates' head shots, Cole's picture is about 10 years old and 30 pounds lighter than he is today. JAV's picture is also a few years old and heavily airbrushed.

  11. It has nothing to do with morals and integrity. It has to do with a parent finding the best fit for their children. You don't sign away that right when you get elected as a Trustee. How many teachers, school admins and district employees have children at non-FWISD schools? At least her children are in the district she represents and she and her family live within the district she represents. YWLA doesn't even have an attendance zone that I know of since it functions like a magnet of sorts, and a significant percentage of Paschal students aren't zoned for that school. Speaking of Paschal, based on your argument you must automatically disqualify Cole since his son attends Paschal, right? Can't have your cake and eat it too, Eastside Optimist. As for Aguilar, I agree with your comment, "Go Joel." Go far, far away, Joel. You're now a principal in a neighboring district that has been poaching our best talent for years. I presume that's how they got you out of FWISD, or is it? Plus, isn't it a conflict, or at least an untenable situation to be a high school principal in one district and a trustee in another? The principals I've worked for put in countless hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays at their own schools taking care of business. Are we really to expect Aguilar would have time to devote to FWISD schools? That's a pipe dream, and everyone knows it. I can't help but think that there is more to this than meets the eye, and I can't wait for it to come out.

  12. Point well made. People want to have their cake and eat it, too. Aguilar has almost 500 children -- all at the high school in Dallas where he is the principal. It doesn't add up that he would have time to devote to being a Trustee in Fort Worth unless he just plans on showing up for the monthly board meetings.

  13. Hi Tobi! You worked at a private school, your children do not attend the schools you represent, you worked at college that was corrupt and cheated innocent people. June Davis is a board mbr at Crowley. Stop grasping at straws. Take care of your daughters, they need you more than the district's children which you do NOT represent!

    ReplyDelete
  14. It has EVERYTHING to do with morals and integrity - which all on this Board save Ann Sutherland, lack. Tobi, just look at your voting record: Every vote was AGAINST employees; Your meetings with Linebarger to fix their "bid" contract; Your fraudulent and make believe work history. You are a wanna be politician. You are not about kids. Two hour bus rides are opportunities for "time management"? Are you kidding? After 5 years and 2 million in legal fees on ONE CASE why are YOU not leading the call to end the Palazzolo litigation? If Cole's son is at Paschal then "yes" he should withdraw. The job is to specifically to REPRESENT the Eastern Hills High School district. You should have paid more attention to Palazzolo. One thing the AHHS Teachers said over and over drew them to his commitment to students and the school was the fact that he enrolled his daughter there. They live in Weatherford. Step down Tobi. You are embarrassing yourself.

  15. Why did he leave? The same reason everyone else who can, does. The corruption.

    ReplyDelete
  16. "Educate this15" or should I say, 'Tobi Jackson"; YOU are the one who NEEDS TO GO, FAR FAR AWAY!!!!! If you win again, it's not because the people voted you in, it's because Needham's Political ATM bought your seat...again! You're a joke Tobi. You're that FLK (funny looking kid), who probably got bullied your whole life and has dreamed of being part of the "cool kids club" aka 7th st. gang. You think you have game? What have you done for the Eastside? Your schools continue to fail and fail miserably. You are just the same as your mother Medusa, aka Needham, Sims, Moss, Robbins, etc. . You are Trustees in name only. Your perks apparently outweigh the reasons why you are elected in the first place...to serve your community, the students and teachers. I don't know Joel or Sultan, but anyone would be better than you! If and when you lose, I bet your "gaggle of gays" will disown you, because you won't have much to offer them anymore, as far as fixed votes go. If I had a lot of money to spare, I would make sure to support everyone else, even Dansby, but never you! And I am even one of your constituents!!!

  17. It's called KARMA Tobi. She has finally had enough of your mindless, cruel, selfishness and is now giving you a taste of your own medicine. How many lives have been ruined over the past 5 years because of your political ambition? And I am not even speaking about your daughters. How does it feel to undergo the same scrutiny you imposed and supported on others? The Teachers and Employees of FWISD have suffered enough of your Needham inspired crap and hypocrisy. Turnabout is fair play and it's only just begun Tobi. KARMA. Want to be re-elected? Go run against Avila - whose only opposition was threatened into withdrawing.

    ReplyDelete
  18. More than a concern - it is proof he is the same hypocrite as Jackson. Want my vote? Want my support? Enroll your kids in Eastern Hills. If it's good enough for my children, why not yours? We don't need any more carpet bagging representation on the School Board. Five years of a self-seeking politician are enough! Moreover, we need a tried and true, experienced EDUCATOR. Experienced in the public school system not FANTASY LAND with made up jobs and degrees.

OMG! Just think. If Joel wins, we might actually have two EXPERIENCED educators on the Board (Ann Sutherland being the only other) and then maybe we can begin to turn this cesspool around.

  20. KARMA Tobi. She's coming for you!

  21. Who is grasping at straws? All some of you people can do is accuse anyone with different point of view of being someone they are not, LOL! Who are you, Aguilar, Cole or Speers? LOL! A board meeting is underway right now if I'm not mistaken, so who do you think is posting this message? LOL? Anyway, so much to say, so little time to say it. First, Prime Prep was an open-enrollment, free-tuition school, not a private school as some have stated. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's from TEA's site. Next, just because a FWISD director is on the board of an adjacent ISD doesn't make it right, IMHO. Next, "Voter and teacher," do you have proof of Jackson and other board members "fixing" a contractor's bid? And what draws you to conclude that Jackson's UNT and UTA degrees and work history are "fraudulent and make believe?" Your proof? If not, sounds like slander to me. As for Jackson and Cole having children at schools outside district 2, how would you feel if the children of Avila or Paz choose schools outside their districts for their POCs or other reasons? YMLA is a POC, so no one has an argument there. Paschal accepts students based on availability so long as both principals agree, so no argument there. Lastly, "Voter and Teacher," if you think Aguilar-Villaneuva ran to Dallas to escape FWISD "corruption," guess you haven't been reading the Dallas Morning News lately, have you? Oh, my, I can feel the bile and hate building to the top already. In all seriousness, too bad we can't really have open and honest debate on this blog. It would be so much more productive than

  22. "...made up jobs and degrees." Really, and you have proof? Degrees from UNT and UTA and a detailed published resume on the FWISD Website, and you're saying they're made up? You people kill me with all the unfounded accusations, bile and hate. You would make a good Obama "birther" with that kind of attitude.

  23. Who do I think is posting this (above) message? The same delusional person who is trying to defend the corrupt incompetence of that hypocrite Toby Jackson. Want to improve East-side schools? Vote to get rid of her and her two hour bus rides! If her daughter is now at Paschal, let her move over there and run against that other fool Avila. We desperately need an EXPERIENCED educator like Joel if we EVER hope to help our East Side kids.

    ReplyDelete
  24. That shining paragon of integrity (NOT): ",,,published resume on the FWISD Website". What a joke. They published attendance too, of which over $40,000,000 dollars was FALSIFIED. Jackson was part of that scam and many more including the AHHS cover-up. Ask some of the employees she helped crucify. You are almost not worth responding to. Go back in the corner and smoke more crack.

  25. This is certainly a blog for open, honest and respectful debate, right Disgusted Employee? You lose all credibility by resorting to character attacks and innuendos. As if you care, of course.

  26. Educate This 15 I believe your a hypocrite since you would rather talk about commas!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Sounds like you have homework to do since you obviously have been living in the clouds (more likely under a rock) for the past 5 years. You can go back 5 years and read the late Betty Brink's coverage of all things FWISD starting with Tobi's election through every scandal and employee crucifixion: Chavez, Palazzolo, Duran, Salinas, Gonzales, Tennyson, etc. etc. etc. - most recently Whitaker. The nipple-pinching principal who for years photographed and assaulted his underage students; select Principals and Teachers having affairs and (allegedly) children with their students; others photographing and assaulting students. The affairs, nepotism, self-aggrandizement of naming schools and athletic fields after themselves. The millions having to be repaid to TEA for fraud - TWICE. Millions more spent on litigation against employees, failed computer systems, endless, useless testing, WHITE PRIVILEDGE, Linebarger, threats to employees, fellow Board Members, and then the small details of her deposition and the deposition and testimony of others. Most important is the continuing decline in student performance. THIS is the FWISD that Tobi Jackson has created for the past five years. Not a very effective nurturing environment for kids. But then her kids don't have to go to school in the district she "represents" do they? I think this record - HER RECORD - speaks for itself.

  28. Hit a sore spot, did I? Only in response to an unfounded personal attack on another poster who politely stated a contrarian point of view. It is clear there is no room for civil discourse on here. I find that strange on a blog for educators, because I always thought education was in part an exploration of different ideas, viewpoints and philosophies: the Socratic teaching philosophy. Some of you apparently adhere to the Sister Ann ruler theory: rap the knuckles of anyone who doesn't toe your line. Oh, well, enjoy talking to yourselves. If I want to hear conspiracy theories, rumors and in some cases lies I'll just attend a Tea Party meeting instead. What's that they say about "if a tree falls in the middle of the forest..." Sad, because I enjoy a good debate, but not a bad lectures. See ya!
