CIRCUMVENTING THE PROCESS AND NO RESOLUTION FOR PALAZZOLO CASE

Our board has indicated that on August 12 they will only discuss the palazzolo case and no votes publicly.  Once again they refuse to act and bring an end to this.

So if no vote comes then no appeal should occur and the case is settled.  We will see what they do but for the most part because it's in executive session we won't know much.  Sutherland may provide some insight, which is the only courageous person that keeps us informed.  No one else has the courage to do so.

Silence seems to be the easy way out!

  1. They're discussing this issue (Palazzolo) tomorrow too, aren't they? We're all probably thinking that it's a big deal (or not) if they publically hold a vote to continue the Palazzolo case in their Board room. However, knowing Needham, she has probably already decided Palazzolo's fate with her cronies OUTSIDE of the Board room! We all know the Exec Session is usually just a damn formality! This woman is not stupid and apparently neither is Brandt! They know how to manipulate the system! Dr. Sutherland will be thrown aside like she always is and she may allow it or run the risk of being censured again. All this really blows! I hope they know that if they vote to move forward, Doom's Day will ensue for the district, b/c the transcripts WILL come out and damage numerous reputations! I disliked Jason Smith, but Brandt is the devil himself! Hang on, Mr. Palazzolo, God is on your side!

At any rate, I hope they at least resolve the kids' issue about getting paid, firing Tatum from the district and sue his butt! On another note; I have a few reservations about them hearing from the 3 companies vying for the job to search for a Superintendent at this "special Saturday" meeting. Are they hoping people won't show up? I heard somewhere that there may be two different agendas for tomorrow?

Speaking of the agenda; I asked Dr. Sutherland on her blog if the district was going to tell the media about the 3 finalists? She only responded saying when, where and the time their meeting will take place. Shouldn't the public know the process in the spirit of transparency? I'm weary, considering the way the last Super was hired! This district is one hot mess! .

This is just plain wrong. More BS and foot-dragging by a Board controlled by Judy Needham. What do you expect? We saw Robbins testify (rehearsed word for word as Ray did), that FWISD "does not retaliate". No one believed him and FWISD LOST. It doesn't matter if TASB is paying the legal fees or not. FWISD LOST. The Board voted last year (we all heard it on the FWISD website) to listen to Brandt and walk on their signed settlement agreement. The Board voted to go to trial and YOU LOST. Get over it and move on. Of course Brandt wants to continue shopping for a verdict - he LOST. This is the same guy who has given the Board poor advise for the past four years. Now he wants you to continue to drag this out; continue to slander a good man; claim his attorney - the bright young Latina who BEAT him - is inexperienced and the Board continues to go along with this because? Brandt asks you to? Well, Ann Sutherland has stood up but Robbins won't put a vote on the agenda. Why? Because Needham and Brandt want to appeal. Well Cinto, and other Board Members, here is your chance to show what you are made of. Are you going to stand and demand this ends, or are you going to tuck your tail AGAIN because Needham and Brandt want you to? Elections are around the corner and every employee in this District has been watching how you have handled this case. Demand a vote and end this now. End the cycle of retaliation in FWISD. And while you are at it, pay the kids. You waste more money in one than it would take to settle both of these issues. Do the right thing.

  5. As Needham continues her tragic personal vendetta against Palazzolo and all employees of FWISD ( so that they keep their place and silence), and the new Board Members simply follow the old like lambs to the slaughter, the graft and corruption grows. One must wonder how much of the $$$ millions squandered on technology that doesn't work, will never be used, or simply disappears winds up in the pockets of Needham and her handlers. No coincidence that the biggest crooks on this Board are the oldest with no children in the system. Unless there is some dramatic turnaround in the way business is conducted (like settling this disturbing Palazola matter), in the Spring parents and employees need to organize to oust Needham, Moss and Jackson. Meanwhile several of us from various schools will be filing our own complaints and letters to the Department of Education and Justice asking for investigations. These people on the Board have repeatedly demonstrated and inability and unwillingness to do the right thing. Employees are absolutely sick and tired of Needham and her underlings. They throw away or shell out to their buddies, millions while we still work with broken desks and 30+ students in a classroom. I can't believe this Palazola/AHHS thing has gone on for five years. Shame on this Board.

  6. Just read Ann Sutherland's recent post in her Blog: "Our legal insurance has rights as well and our actions must be taken in tandem with them." Can you hear it? Flip Flop, Flip Flop. So much for her "leading" anything. These people are pathetic. The only thing that idiot Brandt is worried about is the fact that he lost.

  7. You just cannot make up the utter stupidity of the people on this School Board and their willingness to believe whatever that guy Brandt is selling. Unbelievable.

  8. I believe you are misinterpreting Ann's comments. That is obviously something that fool Robbins is telling Board members. Ann's son is an attorney I believe and he would be able to confirm for her that whether TASB or their paid inquisitor Brandt "wants" FWISD to appeal or not - ONLY THE BOARD can make that decision. It would seem to me that Brandt is crossing the line between representation and self interest.

  9. Ann is with Needham. Please don't think otherwise. Just wait and see where her money comes from this coming year. She is not our fearless leader. Well i think it depends on which meds she is taking before the board meeting. Wake up friends. It hurts but it's true. Judy owns her.
