THIS WILL BE TOBI JACKSON'S LAST RUN

We got word from close sources that Tobi Jackson went to UEA to get backing on this campaign.

She look liked this:

Raised her right hand and said (well almost that) and said that this will be her last run for the board and that this time she will be working for the teachers than she has in the past.  It's politics folks... I mean we call see through all that?  Right?

So then this is what we thought:

  1. Well gee, so long as she promised to support the teachers this time, why don't we all get behind her.... and push her off the board. That sounds so desperate to go to the organization that supports teachers and ask them to support you after ignoring teachers for her entire term. More nerve than good sense.

  2. Did UEA laugh her out of the building? Maybe she should ask Chavez, Duran, Tennyson, Gonzales, Salinas, Whittaker and Palazzolo (just to name a few) for an endorsement. Are you kidding? She has voted AGAINST every teacher who came before the Board. What nerve. And who can forget her overwhelming support for "2 hour bus rides " for kids?

  4. More HUGE embarrassments coming for this Board. Tobi you need to distance yourself from Judy Needham and Cinto Ramos as fast as you can. Mend fences with Ann Sutherland.

  8. IF this is true, IF UEA is endorsing Tobi Jackson, Every member of UEA should be discouraged. Leopards do not change their spots. New ideas and CHANGE must be the agenda of the board of trustees and the administration. Every dollar available must be directed toward the classroom. FWISD does not need to reinvent the wheel. There are plenty of failing school districts right here in Texas.....serious about improving the education of their children, have implemented drastic changes regardless of "political correctness" in their communities. Citizens of Fort Worth must find the fortitude to push back against hiring "Yes Men". A Superintendent with that fortitude who is willing to say to the board, "I'm going to clean out the administration building of the dead weight. Administration works very hard not working. They are gone. We are going to hire a consultant to come in here to evaluate and get rid of them. We are going to take those funds to study other districts who have gotten it right. We are going to implement pilot programs and when we get better results, we will stick with them. You can fire me, as your Superintendent, at any time but I will not bend to allowing the SAME OLD process." This school district MUST find some intestinal fortitude.
