HOW THE FWISD GRINCHES RUIN CHILDREN'S EDUCATION

So we just left school and already the results are coming out.  The TEA released the list of the schools, according to the report, worst schools in Texas based on achievement below 50% or around that number.  So while in our last post the mighty board was celebrating by licking their hefty pay raises, our schools continue to fail.  But of course it's not their fault, let's blame it on the Principals and Teachers.
So I am sure Sorum is making his case on how he would improve the schools so that he can get the job, but let's not forget SORUM, YOU CAUSED THIS MESS!  All the way down to your executors- Breed and Company.  The list seems to be one sided as has been for a long time, East Side schools are stuck!  So we can see why Ms. Jackson would not want her daughter to have the Scarlett Letters- WORST SCHOOL IN TEXAS- so she gets to attend Paschal HS.  I wonder if Jackson will consider allowing the children at the East side schools to be bused to the performing schools?  I mean it doesn't matter if they have to ride for an hour or more, they deserve the best just as much as her child but of course since it's not her children, who cares.

Remember this!

Board Members- when will the bleeding stop, when will you understand that the policies for years have not yielded results.  How are you measuring the impact the highly paid consultants are having on student achievement?  How are the SCAs tracking how the standards are being met?  Where is the data?  Why are we not hearing how our children are doing?  Stop listening to garbage at board meetings and ask the real questions.  Do we need to go past 39 schools in the FWISD as low performing for you to open your eyes?

WHAT IS AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF CASUALTIES?

FWISD is nothing but a prostitute to stuff upper administration pockets and do favors for Sorum and his band of henchmen or henchwomen! They have their circle and if you challenge their unethical tacticts they go after you in a well planned and orchestrated manner much like a terroist organization. They don't care about kids or kids futures! This district is so corrupt!

  2. It is time for parent and teachers demand the IMMEDIATE resignations of Norm Robbins, dufus and Board President, his master Judy Needham, Tobi Jackson, T.A. Sims, and Christene Moss. What more proof do you need? Maybe we need to start a petition to recall these fools. Where in the hell is the Mayor and Chamber on this? Oh ya, they are in bed with Needham. As we read this latest travesty, the FWISD Board having already spent 2 million on the Palazzolo litigation alone, is continuing to litigate with him and others who have reported wrongdoing. I find it incredible that Tobi Jackson fancies herself; "Professional educator and administrator" What a joke!!!

  3. As long as Judy Needham is on the Board, FWISD will fail and children will suffer.

  4. The ranking is now posted in the Star Telegram. Guess they could not hide it any longer. Want improvement? Get rid of Judy Needham. http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/education/article4712349.html

  5. How long do we need to continue this charade with Needham's puppet Linares? Things are worse now than a year ago and continuing to go downhill. "“..... we as a district are doing everything we can to improve the educational opportunities for each and every student in the Fort Worth ISD,” said Pat Linares, interim superintendent. “We are committed to providing a high quality education for our students and look forward to the improvements that our initiatives will bring this year.” Star Telegram.
This is a joke. No telling what the real ratings are - there is so much fraud in what this District reports. Just think what the millions these fools spent on litigation could have done to improve these schools.

  6. I just read the latest Star Telegram story on the "Top Ten Stories of 2014" and it left me scratching my head. No mention of the unmitigated disaster Linares has been (as we all knew she would be), since she assumed the role of keeping the bodies buried. Admin is exploding; senior officials have been found in open violation of residency requirements; kids still falling out of desks; laptops not delivered; Bond in shambles; Board thinking 2 hour bus rides beginning at 5:30 in the morning are a time to study; 2 million spent in legal fees on one case AND STILL GOING (blame it on the insurance company); Year end request for 1.2 million in additional legal fees for outside attorneys; bullying and retaliation out of control; a rash of student suicides; administrator homophobia ("We won't stand for your GAY SHIT here") yet undisciplined and still employed; a staff member (who has history) assaulting a female student (with picture taken and then suppressed by the Principal) still employed with no charges; and of course 39 schools low performing - 4 of them high schools. What left me scratching my head was Ann Sutherland's defense of that unethical boob Norm Robbins. I wonder at times if she is aware that this guy is part of the problem. He ran against Needham then suddenly had his own district. Tom DeLay was indicted for that. He is intentionally lying to the Public and opening defying the Open Meetings Act. Just think of how many classrooms could have been staffed and created with 2 million blown on legal fees for Judy Needham's ego. My wish for the New Year is that someone explain how an alleged "Christian" University could create a make believe position for the failed Superintendent who was chief architect of bullying in FWISD and who allegedly remains in the closet. Amazing but THAT is FWISD.

  7. Norm Robbins never ran against Needham. Check your facts. Robbins is in the seat that at one time was occupied by Elaine Klos.

  8. Thank you for your reply Dr. Sutherland. You are in the trenches and I defer to your opinion. Mr. Robbins in my view, could end all of the monkey-shines but is hamstrung by his loyalty to Needham and an unwillingness to admit error and move on. I just spoke to yet ANOTHER employee who is now moving to level 3 and possible litigation. Please tell us when this all will end. We need money in schools - not in attorney's pockets. It is the Board who is in control - not the attorneys.

  9. Again, go back and look at board districts. Needham has always been the elected official in district 5; Robbins in district 7. Robbins took over Klos. Needham was last opposed by Linda Labeau. In what year did Robbins oppose Needham? I'm sure Dr. Sutherland will be happy to corroborate. Not sure what attending the same church has to do with it. At one time, FWISD had 8 single-member districts and elected the president at-large. In 2010, ditricts were altered, as required by law after every census, and the district created a new 9th district. Therefore, the president would now be chosen among the Board.

Take your complaint to Needham. She is the one quoted in the Star Telegram. It was the election before DoDo ran against Klos. and definitely before LaBeau ran against Needham.

  11. Recently heard Dansby is in the business of selling football field turf? He has been seen meeting with certain principals on the Eastside...private meetings.

I saw the quote from Needham herself in the Star T. That was the election before he beat Klos. Her words - not mine.

  13. What? Isn't that a conflict?

  14. Not surprising if true. The one thing all of these administrators, past and present, really learn to do is suckle at the breast of the FWISD, How many are consultants raking in $'s plus their retirement or selling bogus programs that have little educational value but the retiree selling it needed a little extra traveling money so their friends downtown convinced the district to buy it. After what Walter did as super, why is he still allowed on any FWISD property. I figure he had his fair share of the milk and more after 30 + years of graft and burying bodies.

  15. I understand the picture of Needham in bed with Perry will be released when Needham announces her bid for re-election.

  16. Everyone that is except for Palazzolo and any other employee who comes forward reporting wrongdoing. You and every other Board Member will be called to answer for what you have done to him, his family, and the families of other employees who have been targeted. The Board should have put a stop to this months ago. Now it continues to drag on and on. Robbins is neither a leader or ethical. Shame on you Ann for not demanding this be stopped.

  17. You forget that I supported Mr. Palazzolo, as did two others.

  18. In her defense, Dr. Sutherland was the only Board Member who told the truth under oath at the Palazzolo trial in spite of the threats to her in front of both the Judge and Jury by FWISD's TASB appointed attorney. I was there. I witnessed Norm Robbins and Judy Needham lie under oath. God is not yet finished with Joe and the fight for justice in FWISD. As a result of the Board's continuing desire to litigate, I understand there will now be two more hearings on his Open Meetings Act suit in January and February. These will be followed by the trial on the 2013 Board Meeting. 2015 will be a very busy year for FWISD's attorneys. $2 million and counting on this case alone................ And you thought it was about educating children.

  19. Guess Tobi Jackson's daughter will be "legal" now........ What a hypocrite.

  20. Can someone tell me why the Weekly suddenly has "gone dark" on anything about FWISD? What a dramatic change of heart since the passing of Betty Brink. The only stories on education now are puff pieces on outside ISD's and that idiot who writes stories trashing teachers every time one of his kids gets in trouble. The Bond, elections, Joe P, bullying, etc. etc. Where are they?
