THE HIGH COST OF PERSECUTION IN THE FWISD

2015 just began folks and we do hope you enjoyed the festivities but we can't let our guard down on what is happening in our district.  While the district wants to distract you with the bond, which is another mess, we need to keep our focus on the high costs of litigation that seem to continue in the style of THE INQUISITION.

You would of thought that this style of pursuit to punish those who have spoken the truth would be thousands of years long gone.  Well think again.  The only positive is that while the district hired attorneys are not doing physical harm in this sense, they are doing harm altogether to the work environment of our employees.  We know that about 200 employees are being investigated of what we do not know.  The district is unwilling to let us know how the taxpayer dollars are being spent and for what reason.   What have they done and do we need to be aware so that the practice ends?

So we know about the Palazzolo case alone and a few other cases that are being settled.  Recently the district acknowledged that the attendance issue was the cause of the system yet they demoted an employee, accusing the employee of the error.  We hope the employee will fight back but rest assured that he or she is a target now.  It seems that the investigations make sense with Linares at the helm, remember she left at the height of the corruption and perhaps settling some old business.

So let's take the cases, 200 or so and for one hour of attorney fees is about $300 dollars.  So if they just spend one hour per employee the bill comes to $60,000 per hour.  Think back to the $1.5 million legal requested and all for what?  Well this makes more sense that they need an increase to cover the cost of the persecutions.

Board members you are the fiscal police that needs to do the work and find out why they need to investigate so many people.  What is happening inside the district that is being kept quiet?  Why are we not spending more money on at-risk students?

See some information below for your reading pleasure:

Thanks Dr. Sutherland for taking wasteful spending on!

  1. I am one of the 200. In my case there were two different law firms representing FWISD who contacted various friends and family members and a third who contacted my spouse's place of employment. However if you review the Palazzolo case you get a far better idea of what Needham, Jackson, Robbins, MJ, Linares, Ray, Reyna and Menchaca are capable of. We need an OUTSIDE investigation and prosecution of these people for violations of law AND civil rights. That is over and above the corruption and sexual misconduct involving employees and CHILDREN which continues to be reported then covered up. Need more? Review the Needham and Jackson depositions taken in the Palazzolo case which were previously published in CIA. Both speak of their meeting with Betsy Price and representatives of Linebarger at Michael's restaurant in Fort Worth as Price tried to influence the tax collecting contract for FWISD. This was after it was reported that Needham allegedly took a competing bid to the home of a Linebarger manager and helped craft their original winning bid in 2010. WAKE UP PEOPLE! The Palazzolo case is about to blow this wide open AGAIN in 2015. Just in time for Board Elections and Superintendent interviews.

  2. Superintendent Sorum will continue the cover up that is why they are selecting him as SUPER! And the entire board is doing this to the children of Fort Worth! The ENTIRE board! Why? Because they have no chose due to WHO funded their campaigns!

  3. FYI: One of the 200+ FWISD employees investigated by outside Law Firms at the direction of Central Office and Needham with the approval of the Board was Palazzolo. He established at his trial that FWISD used no less than four (4) outside Law Firms as well as Robert Ray; his so-called "god-son"; Menchaca; OPS; Whatley and Dawson to investigate him over the prior 26 years for the past four (4) years. Yet MJ gets a "job" @ TCU; Henson is kept on for two more years, the nipple pincher was kept on, another former Principal is now Director of Athletics, etc. etc. etc.

  4. Why don't the new board members do their homework and review the Palazzolo case, ask for open records on other employee cases, ask about turnover rates, they have to know about the workplace bullying occurring under their watch! Do they not care? Do they trust Monge, Mendoza and Menchaca? Do they realize Sorum has crippled the district and our city's children! How can they sleep at night? No morals and forget God is watching all. Do you not have children? There will be justice, if not now later and it may not fall upon you right now, it may fall upon your own children for you have betrayed the innocent of the city of Fort Worth.

  5. It is truly unfortunate that we have leaders that consistently put their own self interests ahead of those they have been hired or elected to serve. In the end all of this behavior is about maintaining and increasing their power base. They intimidate anyone that challenges their behavior or in some cases bribe them into silence and cooperation with money and promotions. This of course eliminates any opposition and strengthens their base. In today's society public officials too often feel it's ok to use public funds to accomplish their personal goals. We have seen this repeatedly with the unnecessary and unearned raises given to administrators downtown. With board members they secure their positions by patronage through the hiring of friends and family in higher positions or influencing what contracts are awarded to which businesses.
With all of these "villians", none of them started out as bad, evil, unscrupulous people but somewhere along the way they became the corrupt, uncaring, self-absorbed individuals that we know today. Even worse this whole attitude in not limited to just the school board but we see it in the water district and city politics as well.
Once upon a time in Fort Worth, these miscreants would have been dealt with by the families that have had great influence in the city but now those families have become corrupt themselves and use these "villians" to get what they want. It's time for the people of this city to step up and say no more. We have one caring board member but we need 8 more. There is a chance that in the next board elections a majority of caring trustworthy members could take control of the board and begin to make this district something the city and it's employees can be proud of. Proud to be a part of again. But it can't happen unless we the people can find and run good citizens against those members that are only interested in their own agendas not the interests of the students and employees of the FWISD. All any candidate would have to do is run against the record of the incumbent. With quotes like Jackson's or the pictures of Sims asleep at meetings, Needham's anything, or any of a number of mistakes made by incumbents it should be easy but if no one runs against them it will be the same mess we have had.

  6. Whatever happened to the Fort Worth Weekly?

    ReplyDelete
  7. FW Weekly? Well they quit once Betty Brink passed and Linda Labeau gave up her attack on Heights out of spite for her crazy kid that went there. Maybe she has moved on!

  8. Citizens of Fort Worth are more concerned about TCU football than the Fort Worth ISD. This city may be big, but it is controlled by few and those they control.
We need an Undercover Boss (Superintendent) to take on FWISD.

  9. The Weekly has become obsessed with the Arts and Music. It hasn't covered anything of substance in a while. Guess they were scared off by big money, No FWISD; No Tarrant Regional Water; Bo Bond; No Dansby; nothing in the blog........Nothing.

Let's not forget to mention the child that former Principal fathered with his former student! So disgusting! Hello?? Everyone knows that affair started when she was a senior! That's a felony! Nope, in FWISD that's grounds for as promotion! It makes me want to vomit! Those board members out there with daughters and granddaughters should be ashamed of yourselves! No way did you not hear about that? I'm just a lowly ole teacher who did a little search on Facebook to confirm what I heard! Seriously?!? We sure waste a ton of $$ investigating, it's just not for the real criminals!

    ReplyDelete
  13. What do you expect from an organization who will not hire a Board Members wife (though Moss and Sims have gotten DOZENS of first tier relatives hired since their elections) but hires his girlfriend and mother of his alleged child instead? Wasn't that Jackson's school where the Principal fathered his student's child? Similar situation at AHHS last year with a noted teacher. Principal refused to take action against him and that went all the way to Needham. Then again, she got her TCU buddy hired as a "coach" though for a second year he is neither certified nor does he have any intention of becoming certified.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Wow. We can tell where your head is. I suppose you are going to defend the teacher here (AHHS) who left this year after allegedly carrying on an affair with a student and his wife divorcing him. The AHHS Principals have been as inept and unethical as Alexander was. Yes. I defend Chad and what he did for his Hispanic students.

    ReplyDelete
  15. You sound like that shrill Barbara Griffin. About as ill-informed too.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I agree that you are some sort of apologist for Needham and crew thus your attack on LaBeau and Whitt. For the record, LaBeau had no "crazy kid" who went to AHHS. It was her niece who Linda and her husband took in when the child's mother passed. And as for Chad, he is the only Coach who came forward about Needham and Perry who is still at AHHS. You are an uninformed Asshole - if you really are a teacher. Obviously another who believes in the myth that AHHS is for the privileged and that the rules don't apply to wealthy, white, families. As long as Needham is on the FWISD Board, FWISD will continue to decline. LaBeau's only crime was running against that corrupt bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Whitt only cares for the Hispanic kids that can kick a soccer ball, that's all. How does he treat the black students? I see him daily.

    ReplyDelete
  18. As do I. The question is, how many "black students" (vs. "Hispanic kids" - aren't they students too?) are on his team? This proves you are either the Principal herself or one of her worthless hacks. Why else did she try to write him up on BS AFTER he spoke up for the Hispanics who were being punished while the white kids (as in typical AHHS style) skated?

  19. The district needs a complete overhaul.

    ReplyDelete
  20. there needs to be a rule that no board member can be in office past 2 terms...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Both the Star T and the Weekly refused to report on the story of the Principal fathering the child of his student though they were given the information and contact info for witnesses. Just as they have refused reporting on Dansby and that fraud Tatum and the bogus "lawsuit" FWISD was going to file against him. That was all to cover up his dismissal of the DOE complaint in return for the "job" Dansby gave him. Anywhere else, a REAL paper would have told the truth to the public. Allegedly the transfer was approved by the Board. Needham, Jackson and Robbins knew.... what about the rest of the Board?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Has anyone tried the Dallas Paper? Surely somebody out there isn't scared to print the truth! You know some of the information is so easy to verify through social media. Maybe the parents of our lovely district would feel differently if we gave names and they can decide if it's criminal or not. I have names but, I don't see too many comments that specifically use names. (Except board members names) I don't wish to be another Mr. Palazzolo; I need my paycheck. Why doesn't anyone name people on this blog? Probably because it's hard to trust that this isn't a "set up." I mean why must we give our email?

    ReplyDelete
  23. How about it Ann? Ashley? Did you all vote for this transfer and know he had fathered a child with one of his own students? The school was Trimble Tech. Dansby made the deal.

  24. Maybe the people funding campaigns have no real idea as to what is going on?????????????

Yes, surely there had to be whispers? I understand there's always gossip but, a parent told me and it was easy enough to look up. Ask a few people a question here and there and I confirmed within 48 hours of inquiring. I suppose there weren't photos of the child at the time BUT, you can't exactly deny it now! This is a CRIME! I'm not sure how you can continue to deny having the knowledge now. That man is a PREDATOR! I guess him hosting the Girls 5A Regional Basketball Championship doesn't bother you but, it should! That man is sick and pretending it didn't happen makes you just as culpable!

  26. Sorum's women: Creel, Arispe, Meng and Walk are as insecure as he is and it shows in their leadership skills: workplace bullying and intimidation. Surprised at Arispe, she has children that will reap what she sows. The others, well they like Sorum have no integrity, just thirst for titles and money. EVERYONE knows how bad these leaders are and still allowed to lead our children into a very dark future. How do you sleep at night? How can you look in the mirror? God is watching you closer than ever because it is His children you are misleading.

    ReplyDelete
  27. True leaders don't create followers, they create more leaders. This is NOT what has or is haopening at FWISD. What are we teaching our students?
People need to get on the "Reality" ride and realize we have major issues not only in one of the largest school districts in Texas but also in one of the largest cities in Texas.
LULAC: You should be knocking on your people's doors and calling on media attention.
Black, Brown and Tan: You should be soeaking at board meetings and call on media attention.
CIty Council: Really? You haven't read or heard the outcries?
Mayor: Are you really proud of your city's school district?
How much longer will this go on? Does IGNORING the obvious help you sleep at night?
The FWISD Board may be the ones to blame, but they aren't the only ones.

  28. Palazzolo's book will be published soon. Then the WORLD will see the REAL FWISD and Board for what it is: a corrupt organization which should have been shut down years ago. Lead by vicious, corrupt, and self-serving individuals (Needham, Jackson, Robbins) of low self esteem many of whom hide in the closet like MJ and her network of cronies.

  29. Notice to Teachers/EmployeesJanuary 8, 2015 at 10:04 AM

Our Job is to INFORM parents and the PUBLIC as to what is going on in FWISD and with this corrupt Board. The corruption; the nepotism; the serial bullying; the retaliation; the unreported misconduct with students; the lying to the public by Robbins, Needham, Jackson and crew. When you add up the legal fees and expenses spent on Palazzolo, Chavez, Duran, and others in the past five (yes 5) years, it is well near 4 million dollars. Think what we could have done with our classrooms and for our students with that. We have to speak out and campaign against these FOOLS! Make signs, post fliers, communicate with students and parents! We must help vote them out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. We knew he was removed. I'm not sure there was a vote.

  34. Just read it. WE all known Linares was a bad administrator and a sorry excuse for a human being particularly after she took Tocco's $ 20, 00 in hush money but this takes the cake. Show her the door fast.
