FWISD UNDERPAYS EMPLOYEES & MORE

We as teachers have to wonder where the board members spend their time before election time.  If they truly cared about us they would give a good curriculum, good leaders,etc. and pay us.  Do you remember the so called salary study that the district says would keep us competitive to attract people?

The district provided us with how much employees at the top got the raise.  Our employees at the bottom got leftovers if any.  We found out from sources that employees were being underpaid but instead of adjusting the pay, they told them that they needed to apply for the raise if you wanted then you needed to have higher ups sign the form within a day or two after the announcement.  So what a great way to intimidate our fellow employees and sit in the Godfather tribunal of Dansby and Company just to get what you deserve.  Yes folks Dansby was in charge.  We know that the culture of bullying and intimidation is ongoing.

So then they hire someone who is supposed to better everything and no results as of yet.  Ms. STAAR STOP AND JOT STRATEGIES is paid $123, 750 when the people doing the work get nothing.  See the contract approved under the same regime.

WATCH OUT! Dansby news has hit the admin area it seems he is running for board.  So now he gets to use the taxpayer money to run, must be nice.  Wish we teachers could make that amount when we decide we are fed up but guess what, we get crap!

So now that the campaign has started, Ms. Jackson, the things you should be concerned about is us in the classroom and what we lack and how it's affecting our students.  If you want to request videos of how things have been going for all of us then we can send you some.  We have plenty to tell you.  By the way how long has it been seen you have visited the Meadowbrook area?  People don't know who you are, we would of thought you at least could take a picture with the schools in the background and say I was here.  But now that we have mentioned it folks, watch out for PAPARAZZI JACKSON, coming to a school near you!

  1. We are receiving information that employees were not aware until the day that the request for salary adjustment was due. Sad how us as employees are treated.

  2. Read this in Dr. Sutherland's blog about more raises in the amount of $2.4 million in executive session. They use that cover to not discuss anything in public. Raises are not secrets. http://www.sutherlandforschools.org/Blog.html?entry=yuck-more-raises-for-outside

  3. I'm confused? I mean after 12 years in the classroom my raise actually was around $42 after taxes, insurance increase, etc. So, are you saying that this was incorrect or that some teachers received no raise at all?

  4. We are trying to find out how this was decided in terms of which employees. But wouldn't doubt it if they didn't do it right for you. We are digging for more.

  5. Don't forget, they spend millions of dollars in legal fees each year, investigating, intimidating and retaliating against employees. Money which should have been spent in the classroom. Palazzolo's case is STILL going on. I hope the Super candidates are reading this blog. One more thing: Tobi get out now. This is going to get REAL ugly. You are about to get a taste of what you and your buddies have put us through since you were elected. You could have done so much for children. you have done nothing.

  6. Mrs. Rafaela Gomez only has a GED but makes 66K. Mrs. Gomez was supposed to back to school and earn a degree but the documents that she signed promising to complete this task disappeared in records. She makes more than one of the degreed Talent Managers in HCM. Ms. Aracely Chavez does nothing to earn the increase. She is supposed to be over policies and procedures and HCM doesn't even have a handbook. Also, she is a Director over no one, but has an assistant and no employees reporting to her. Ms. Chavez still walks around telling everyone about her whistleblower days in the district. This must be some sort of joke.

Almost as bad as Nancy Ricker being involved in selecting a "new" Super; Pat Linares being appointed Interim Super after that other incompetent bully, Walter Dansby, Omar Ramos being sent back as Principal and his predecessor promoted instead of being jailed. You may recall there are 192+ retire/rehires who should simply go home. Most are relatives/friends of Needham or someone. It is a total waste. Not to be outdone, the Board is now using a NEW outside law firm - this one from San Antonio no less. Wonder how much THAT is costing? And people wonder why FWISD is sliding into the abyss? Don't get me started on Aracely.

  8. So that means I can apply for the Superintendent vacancy and sign a piece of paper saying that I'll get my degree(s) while I'm on the job? Who runs HCM?

  11. Eastern Hills is in sad sad shape. Principal who got his job thanks to daddy; SIX Assistant Principals; SIX counselors!! Let's not forget Dunbar - a non LGBT friendly school where Assistant Principals tell students: "We won't put up with your gay shit here" - and are still employed!!

  12. You may have noticed that our only Board Member who is committed to Kids, Teachers and the CLASSROOM, Ann Sutherland, has taken criticism from an alleged Central Office "Good Employee". Funny this person fails to explain how they figured they were a "good employee" and they want more money. Here is what I posted as a reply: "My Reply to "Good Employee". If you are in Central Office you are dead weight in this educational organization. The focus should be the classroom. That has long since been lost in FWISD. I applaud Ann for being the ONLY Board Member to speak up. If you can make more elsewhere particularly if you are not in a classroom, please go for it."

  16. Is it even possible to get worse than the the liars, crooks, thieves, and do-nothings who currently compose the FWISD School Board? The answer is "YES". Add Walter Dansby to that brew and kids in Fort Worth will be forever lost. This guy brought new meaning to patronage and cover-up. Sadly he will win.

  17. I think Dansby will win, I hope he does! Moss has done nothing! FWISD is slowing sinking. Sorum and Breed continually run the district into the ground. They are idiots. I am a principal in the district. Of course I can't say who I am, or I'd get fired. Change is coming CENTRAL ADMIN!

  18. Dansby Is connected to Sorum, Breed and all of Sorum's bullies. Politics makes strange bed fellows. But I promise you, they are all in bed together making deals for each other. Dansby is running so he can do all he can to keep Breed, Sorum and his hatchet women in their positions with their big salaries.

  19. I agree. Moss is supported by big white folk $$$ who controlled her and her husband's vote on City Council for years. Dansby was content to participate in all of the Bond corruption and patronage he could for 40 years! Has everyone forgotten Dansby & Breed were an "item"? How else did Breed get where she is? We need Moss out but Dansby with Needham and Robbins (hoping Jacking and Ramos will be thrown out. Avilla was not elected anyway), will be the final nail in the coffin for children in this district. All of his cronies will be back: Galvan, Isabel Perry, Nipple Pincher, Pedophile Principal (who is still promoted and employed) and all of the bodies will STAY buried.

  21. Yes, Moss has been a horrible, do nothing, self serving board member and she most certainly needs to be replaced but not by Dansby. Remember he was bought off by Tocco for $20,00.00 a year, put up Aecom to run the current bond that has turned into an even bigger mistake than the one under Tocco. That's in addition to all the other bad things he's done that others have listed over these last few months. He's the last person in the world that we need on the board. Somebody has to run against those 2 that will help the kids on the eastside. Jackson doesn't, Sims just sleeps. There has to be a good person in that district that can beat those 2.

  22. Are you insane? What do you think is great about Dansby? Seriously, Moss is aweful and certainly needs to be replaced but, not with Dansby! I recall when I first heard that he was going to be superintendent and I was ideally optimistic! Wow! What a let down!! Reminds me of a typical politician with, "let's not and say we did" as his motto! I served on DERC for 3 years and I watched him side-step, lie and flat out avoid doing what's right! Pretty slick though opening up by giving out his business cards encouraging all DERC members to call his cell directly if they felt retaliation for speaking out. Yeah, nothing really changed except his salary and that of his cronies! Hell, check out some of those double digit raises for non-teaching positions under his regime! Not sure what you think he's going to do for you or our students!?!?
