Nepotism alive and well at O.D. Wyatt

Seems the Criss family have jobs for all family members:

Linier Criss
Dominque Criss
Meyer Criss
Quinin Criss
Zachary Criss

All family members working at OD Wyatt together. Was this a promise from Walter Dansby or T.A. Sims?

New superintendent needs to know about this continue FWISD way of hiring.

You got a job is related or personal friend of a board member and/or superintendent. You don't even need to be qualified- free job via an affair, a family line, or a cover up.

Check it out- it is an easy find!

  1. The nepotism starts with the Board. Ramos and his alleged paramour; Moss and her family; Sims and his family; even Dansby and his relatives. Choose your analogy: "ship of fools" or "den of thieves".

  2. I understand the pride the Criss family has for their success but to so publicly show how nepotism works in the district is so sad. Things have gone so far that not only is the district not hiding the things that are wrong but bragging about them. What next, board members admitting they got concrete poured at the district expense or signs on peoples door stating " i got my job through my uncle"?

  3. How many current Principals got their positions because of their fathers, father in laws, or uncles?

  4. Watching, another question is how many principals are putting the relatives on the payroll at their schools?

  6. I'm sorry but, this has been going on for as long as I've been with the district! (10+years) I too was naïve to think that I could become a positive driving force in administration that supported teachers and helped develop strong teams of educators! Yeah, competency, passion, ability to lead, and even basic people skills have no bearing on getting your foot in the door in this district! Laughable really when you think about the word leadership and everything that implies! At least it gives a great example of an "oxymoron!" You know we should actually put that on our website: "We only hire from our intimate idiot pool!" I mean if our district was really interested in student achievement, we might hire differently.

  7. Don't forget Sherry Breed. How she can still be allowed near children is a mystery to me - let alone be in a senior position, but then again, there is that "connection" to Dansby. Here is the link to one of the stories about current Board Member T. A. Sims and his Bond "experience". http://archive.fwweekly.com/content.asp?article=2392

  9. Yes, I remember reading this some time ago however, I've not seen any follow up. Was this case dismissed? A reader asked sometime last March and there was no reply. Does any one out there know what became of these charges of Breed and Ruiz? Also, if anyone has 1st hand knowledge of the specific allegations (other than what was in the original article of the Star Telegram) please provide a link.

The truth is coming with NO STRINGS ATTACHED!

  10. Breed's case never went to trial. The prosecutor dropped charges after the CPS investigator lied under oath during Ruiz's trial. Charges dropped against Ruiz in the middle of her trial.

  11. As for Ann Sutherland reporting that: "They will have to live in the district. by Ann Sutherland on 11/12/14" - does this mean they are FINALLY going to enforce one fragment of Board Policy and release fools like Steinert who never lived in District?

  12. Board policy for residency only requires the following positions to live in FWISD: "assistant superintendent, chief information officer, associate superintendent, division chief, deputy superintendent, or Superintendent"

I believe Steinert is an Executive Director. The policy wouldn't apply. Also, a quick little search shows that while he lives in Benbrook he does, in fact, live in FWISD.

  13. You should clarify that the alleged "lie" was in Breed and Ruiz's favor. After who knows what was promised, the investigator suddenly remembered an undocumented telephone report. Isn't THAT how the story went? Her alleged personal relationship with Dansby had nothing to do with anything right? You are such a mouthpiece for FWISD. Too bad Betty Brink isn't around to set you straight. You are after all, the same person who failed to mention FWISD was self-insured.

  14. I don't know where you get your "facts" but the "lying" was to the direct BENEFIT of Breed and Ruiz. Suddenly, and allegedly out of no where, a magical "verbal" complaint was said to have been made. All pure B.S. You are so obviously a source of disinformation and party line. Like everything else with this Board: family and girlfriends hired; sudden inflation in Bond prices; real estate sales to buddies; no insurance - but rather self-insured, NO PUBLIC NOTICE, DISCUSSION or VOTE. The public needs to see all of this including the millions of taxpayer $$$ wasted by this Board in senseless litigation.
