Well our fearless leaders have made the decision to put IM Terrell on the promised STEM and Visual Arts Academies but empty promises because of the poor performance on the bond. I am sure raises are coming soon since it seems that the worse you perform the better the reward.
Not much discussion on anything just business as usual.. the voices are silent.. some much hope put on change and nothing.
Someone will be making lots of money off this deal.
Not sure how the vote went on the SCAs but will update once the video is posted. No consistency, no plan, nothing.

As we swirl down the drain........ Board voted 8-0 to move STEM and VPARTS to Terrell. Sad, sad, day for children. Another boondoggle for FWISD. Of course it goes without saying that NONE of these fools would dare send there children there. Does Jackson send her daughter to Eastern Hills? No. Paschal. Once again it is Ashley Paz, (apparently starved for the acceptance of co-members) to make the comment of the night: “I would like to thank my colleagues for getting through this decision and also having our heads in place,” Trustee Ashley Paz said."
ReplyDeleteYes Ashley your heads were all in one place: Up your backside when you voted to approve this. This like the infamous Tobi Jackson "They can study on the bus (two hour bus ride) - What? Time management" comments. Notice how Needham was not there again? Ultimately the original Bond Property promised to taxpayers will be sold to some Needham crony. We know Cinto sold out for his TCU job. Not bad - newly elected and trading the future of children you were elected to nurture and protect for more $$$ in your pocket. For me it is now a clean sweep of incumbents in the coming Board Election. And no I will not vote for Spear - we had enough of her incompetent, unethical self while she was an employee. Unless someone else announces to run for that seat, I will be sitting home. I will not support Ann after these last two sell out votes. I am also told that the attorney who advised DISD to stop their recent Board Meeting as they were in violation of the Open Meetings Act is also an attorney advising FWISD. Obviously he wasn't their when this Board decided to file the Palazzolo appeal. From what I read here, they are still throwing our money down that rabbit hole. Clean Sweep in coming elections.
It wasn't a high school.
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter?
ReplyDeleteIt's Dunbar Middle not HS. My questions is why w/o any input from the community? Why not go through the regular process of gathering the required signatures instead of doing an end around by first changing the policy to just a board vote then changing the name? My 3rd questions is what is Moss getting out of this? Because we all know she doesn't do anything for free.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Couldn't stomach to watch the video. Didn't realize the Board changed policy FIRST then voted on this. Typical.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the new name of Dunbar MS?
ReplyDeleteThey've been wanting to shut down IMT for years, especially now has it is a priority tier 3 school - what better way to get that school of its "books" in terms of low performance. This is all a part of a city plan, to rejuvenate down town, phrase out those projects and make it a downtown school for the "well to do." Mark my words and check out the school and environment in the next few years.
ReplyDeleteWhat's going to happen to the adminstators?
ReplyDeleteThat's a real ETHICAL approach toward improving education. All about themselves and their handlers - NOT about the KIDS.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately that's they way it's been here for too long.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of these two board mbrs. We are certain both will be up the new supt's rear to secure their personal agendas.
