Well Fort Worth, have you not yet grown tired of the endless mis-steps, embarrassments and corruption? While Boyd is a big story and Ashley Paz may never recover from her "best Superintendent in the United States" gaff, the BIGGER story of corruption and insider trading is hidden in the weeds. I never bought the ridiculous claims that the Bond costs were so out of wack with the bid. After all, that is what a completion Bond is for. There were and remain many rumors of investors tied to Needham and Dickerson wanting the Farrington Field property, but I had not heard of Betsy Price's desire to dump two worthless lots adjacent to Terrell until now. So things have almost come full circle. The voters and parents have been played again by big money interests on 7th street or where ever who promised one thing to get public approval, then once again delivered something far less. The real losers here are the children who have been sacrificed once again to money and political ambition. Environment is everything in education. What could have been a cutting edge program particularly for minority children has already failed. Who was the main proponent of this deal? None other than Tobi Jackson. Remember that on election day. This should also be a desperate plea to Walter Dansby: PLEASE run against Christene Moss.
It's not to late Ashley to redeem yourself and pull your support from this guy. You were set up by your fellow Board Members. Several on the Board have been lied to or not told the entire truth. There was only ONE actual APPLICANT. Any others interviewed, any other "packets" presented were recruited by HCM personnel or the Firm you hired when panic began to set in. It is alleged Monge gave several trusted employees lists of potential candidates and had them calling trying to recruit someone. This guy was not properly vetted. He had already signed a contract extension which he is now going to break? Is that the kind of leader you want? We went through this with Needham and MJ. Please don't put the District and our kids through this again. In truth, I believe the hiring should be tabled until after the election. This Board is still creating disasters like the Terrell move and continuing others like the Palazzolo debacle. Clean up your mess; pray that Needham, Jackson and Moss lose their seats; then hire a new Super.
When you look at the fate of Hispanic students under this guy, makes you wonder where our Latino Board Member was when they were "vetting" this guy. Oh ya. He was in Washington trying to promote something started by Kyev Tatum. BAM Cinto.
Yes, I agree that we should let the new board members hire our new Super! Clearly the usual suspects aren't qualified since they have done such a great job in the past! Why though do I keep reading that we want Dansby to run against Moss? Surely the readers here have all heard the leaked tape of Dansby "trashing" Palazzolo by saying that he shouldn't be around children. Remember??? How's that saying go about putting your trash out? Let's not go digging through our old trash please! Dansby is not the answer!
I was stunned to read the comment from "Finding it Hard" on the recent letter Ann received from a SFPS parent. Then I went back and Googled all of the stories - before and after - about MJ. All of the same warning signs were there but Judy Needham blew smoke, keeping them concerns from the public. When MJ resigned supposedly to return to California (like that happened) It was Needham's pals Dickerson and Koehler along with protégé Tobi Jackson defending her. Its all there - read it. Now Needham has her newest duckling, Ashley Paz running interference while Cinto Ramos just sits back collecting a paycheck from TCU for his silence. Dickerson, Koehler, Needham and Johnson (now also at TCU - NOT California) have staged a great comeback against the Board Members who helped topple MJ. They were of course aided by personal greed and arrogance. Now only one remains: Ann Sutherland. Those of you who think Ashley is anything more than a sellout should put down your crack pipes.

ReplyDeleteHey. Did Babs Griffin get her Cadillac approved on Tuesday? That's another phony who needs to move into Fort Worth or get another job.

ReplyDeleteIs he coming or not?! Our kids deserve better than this!
