We have come across some information that has not been confirmed fully and may not be. Perhaps readers have some info.
If you have kept up with Sutherland blog, a comment in there mentions how the district may have paid for the, supposed finalist, to come to the Gaylord Texan. Apparently some pictures may show board members with the candidate. We are asking if the person on that blog could send us the information. If this is true, the board cannot stay out of the process and allow it to go the way it should be. Now we know why they do it behind closed doors. One reason they have given is to protect the candidates from their bosses knowing they are trying to leave. Now it looks like impropriety is bringing this new person on and looks like they are being bought or silenced and not allowed to do what they need to do for our district.
Then we also get this message regarding the STEM and Visual Arts bond issue.... recall when Board Member Ramos was given a job at TCU and the speculation is that he was rewarded for keeping the visual arts back at farmington field. Well now that the decision may be to use the Terrell site, he may be the one to speak against it and if he does then we would know that he is being backed by the big dogs who want to make money off of the location by the field. We hope this is not the case but we have been let down so much already.
If anyone has anything more let us know. Just when we think Students are the focus.. it goes back to being about adults who are self-centered.
By the way, the Dallas Morning News reported that the finalist will be announced this Saturday and yet the Star Telegram has nothing on it.. go figure!

Wow! I think there were some things taken out of context. I was talking about several directors Who attended a training at the Gaylord. My understanding is that this training was mainly for teachers or school administration since it was specifically for the classroom. These directors got to stay at the Gaylord for almost a week during this training in December. What I wanted to know was how we could justify spending all that money to pay for such a lavish accommodations. I know veteran teachers who were denied the opportunity to attend local trainings just for the cost of
ReplyDeleteregistration. Yet we seem to have the money to pay for this hotel vacation for many of our directors. One of those directors even posted pictures of those lavish accommodations on Facebook. It made me sick. Just another example of how our district does not value it's teachers. When I asked Ann about this on her blog, she did not want to comment. As far as this director becoming our new superintendent, that was really never confirmed.
I mean it is just a 45 minute drive
ReplyDeleteWoo. It also sounded to me like you had pictures of the actually nominee at the Gaylord in December as well. In any event this is simply incredible. Linares' last hurrah. She was as big a mistake as Dansby. As big a bully and just as corrupt. She has known about a variety of illegal activities to include a teacher who photographed his hand on her leg - and the Principal who covered it up - and did nothing. Neither did Robbins. This was a child. Think of what is going on regarding money and the Bond. Cinto's opposition (and thus any voice for the Hispanic community) to the Terrell move for the Visual and Performing Arts academy has been bought and paid for with a phony job at TCU. He is a fraud. If this Board were truly about kids and NOT about Needham and her buddies that school would be built near Farrington Field. This whole P.R. campaign about rising costs is well planned and a load of B.S. Don't forget voters, TOBI JACKSON is "100% behind" the Terrell move. So we are moving a new Academy specifically designed for children wishing to pursue the Arts - from the City's Art's District to the other side of town. Far removed from everything they seek. This is a travesty. I just don't understand what is wrong with the "Seventh Street Gang" or whoever continues to allow this corruption. Oh yes I do. Its all about Needham controlling and guiding and directing the corruption. You watch. FWISD will sell that land to some developer buddy which was part of the plan all along. CIA may have been responsible for stopping a Sorum hire but there is much work to do in stopping a Jackson re-election and Spear election.

ReplyDeleteincredible. I for years have driven well over 45 minutes for work and training. Moreover, the Gaylord Texan? Obviously Linares' last hurrah. She was as big a mistake as Dansby; as big a bully and just as corrupt. She has known about a variety of illegal activities to include just this year a teacher who photographed his hand on the leg of his Middle School student with his personal cell phone - and the Principal who covered it up - and she did nothing. Neither
did Robbins who also knew. This was a child. Think of what is going on regarding money and the Bond. Cinto's opposition (and thus any voice for the Hispanic community) to the Terrell move for the Visual and Performing Arts academy has been bought and paid for with a phony job at TCU. He is a fraud. I gave Supt. Linares 48 hours to comment; the time is up at 12 noon when I will post the comment. I thought this was fair and hope you agree.
ReplyDeleteCrickets....
ReplyDeleteCrickets??
ReplyDeleteNVM, I get it now lol.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm No Strings Attached and I don't get it. Not sure who the pretender is??? Although, I'm guessing the reference is to the silence....
ReplyDeleteI am truly sick for the children of Fort Worth. Just saw Jackson's Facebook page and a photo of her with "Two of our endorsers for the 2015 run are FWISD Board Trustee and 1st Vice President, Dr. TA SIMS and our AMAZING MAYOR of Fort Worth, Mayor Betsy Price." Guess Sims either woke up or is on some sort of stimulant in this picture. Not a fan at all of BP. Jackson needs to be replaced at all cost. She is harming our students, decimating the Teaching staff and helping destroy FWISD for her own political career.
ReplyDeleteYou know that Superintendent Lineres is lying right? At least about the person making 66k a year anyway. The data is public. Now what? I don't know why I'm shocked that she lied but, I guess the real question is will this be allowed to continue?? I'm thinking that it will be some more of trying to save face and ass at the same time. Perhaps they will enroll this woman in some on-line courses or a local college and then just act like that was always the plan. This doesn't even scratch the surface!!!!!!
