NEEDHAM DERAILS BOND PROGRAM FROM THE START-EMAIL TRAIL

The debacle over the bond program seemed to have started more than a year ago when Judy Needham was requesting changes to the bond that did not seem to fit the intent of what was proposed to the voters.  The shameful part is that board members did not say or do anything to stop her from pushing on items and ultimately delaying the process even more.  Not only were costs at play but making changes that needed board approval did not surface at all.

This is what we meant about no staying silent on issues that truly affect how money is spent.
So we have Judy Needham, not president at the time, pushing on something that would benefit her and her minions.  So where was Tobi Jackson the defender, so she says, of East Fort Worth.  Why didn't you speak up?  Where were the others?  All of you were copied on the emails.

Read the Emails  (the print is small so you will need to increase magnification.  Read from bottom to top.)

  1. It is not the role of a trustee to "micro-manage" schools within a district. I view the role of trustee as consultant to the principal and cheerleader to the teachers, parents and students. Secondly, renegotiating the bond matters should be discussed fully in public at the board meetings with amble notice to the public this matter will be on the agenda. Reading the emails between Superintendent Dansby and Judy Needham seem veiled in doubt and suspicion and certainly a lack of trust and mixed messages. I hope someone makes an open records request on the purchase price for the new location of the proposed campuses to include the variance from Farrington Field as well as the value of Farrington Field property. This community can no longer afford to turn a blind eye on how this board of trustees behaves in executive session and during public meetings.

FWISD has been driven into the ground by Judy Needham and her special interests. She is supported by the silence of her minions on the Board (Jackson, Robbins, Paz, Ramos) who in turn receive false accolades, awards, and attention. CIA exposed the most recent bestowed upon Ramos and Pa from TCU. This is in addition to the job Ramos allegedly secured for his mistress through Walter Dansby. Obviously Needham has better connections and Ramos knows a gravy train when he sees one. The whole BOND and financial situation in FWISD should be investigated by the Attorney General or the Feds. Kay Granger or someone else SHOULD be leading this charge. The Terrell move ALWAYS smelled to high heaven and the claims of cost over-runs NEVER made sense to ANYONE familiar with construction and the bidding/contract process. This is further PROOF that Judy Needham CONTROLS not only the Board but the business of FWISD. Vasquez succumbed to her wiles when he agreed to run against Lon Burnham with Republican $$. Dansby found out he was NOT in charge and when he fought back, she destroyed him. The ONLY light in the darkness that is FWISD - a darkness that is dooming the futures of our children - is Ann Sutherland. She needs help. We need to rid the Board of Needham and Jackson if not by criminal charges resulting from an investigation, then by votes. Please support Ann Sutherland, Joel Aguilar and Linda LaBeau for FWISD Board of Trustees.

  6. Your post just made me puke in my mouth. Mark my words, Ann and that crazy b Linda will lose by a mile. Both are idiots! Linda has the support of those crazy few Joe supporters at Arlington Heights. So sick of hearing the poor Joe whining. Glad he never came to Paschal. We at Paschal are so sick of Ann's two faced babbling. What has she done for our school? Nothing. Judy does more for Paschal than Ann could ever think of doing. Bye Ann, it's time for change.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Consultant to the principal? Are you kidding? Linda if you win, your role is to let the Supt work with the principal. Not the board member. That's Anns mistake, she is not in charge of Paschal.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The puke in your mouth (an obviously familiar taste being a Needham supporter) has affected your eyesight and is flowing through to your keyboard. WHAT are you smoking? CRACK? "Joe" was never mentioned in the post you responded to. Arlington Heights was never mentioned in the post you responded to. "Joel Aguilar" was. For your information ignorant person, he is running against Tobi Jackson. If you are such a big Needham supporter, use your REAL name. You can't. You don't have the courage or stamina of Joe, Joel, Ann, or Linda. Get a life. The e-mail above proves conclusively the depth of the corruption on this School Board. You are a part of the problem. Funny. Guess we know now why Jackson sends her daughter to Paschal and NOT Eastern Hills. We can only hope and PRAY for an outside investigation into the insider deals Needham has brokered.

    ReplyDelete
  9. "Let the Supt work with the principal"? Since when has that happened in FWISD since Tocco? Every Supt. starting with him focused their efforts on building their own kingdom. THAT is why this School District is failing. The entire focus SHOULD be on the classroom - not real estate deals with friends, not phony credentials, and politics.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Perhaps I didn't explain myself well enough. I believe trustees should visit the schools in their districts, if there is a particular issue at a school such as there was at AHHS, report the information back to the Superintendent for appropriate action. I do not see the role of trustee as micro manager of schools. There also needs to be trust building between administration and the board.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Your name first you idiot. And the mention of Joe, not Joel, was in reference to all you who post comments on these stories. You can't let him go. Again, the Paschal community is a proud one. Ann will lose during this election.

    ReplyDelete
  12. You're doing fine Linda. Ignore that idiot who can't even keep the pseudonym they are using straight ("Proud PHS" or PHS Parent"). Keep exposing what has been going on. People are starting to listen.

    ReplyDelete
  13. No one was talking about Joe or Arlington Heights. Ann's not running in the Paschal District. You left your pipe burning......

I can't wait till the election, and the Paschal community will prevail. Sorry for my missuse of pseudonyms, I just choose not to make a new fake name to look like more people are supporting her. But I'll change my name a bit here to look like you. Supporter, grow up.

    ReplyDelete
  15. You are boring me. Are you a parent in the district? Will you get to vote? Surely not in the Paschal or Heights vote! Or are you just a disgruntled teacher who can't wait to get through tomorrow so you won't have to deal with kids for a week?

    ReplyDelete
  16. "Rocks" As in CRACK? Figures. I knew it. You are a privileged fraud or maybe someone REALLY close to Needham. Hmmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wow. I found reading this exchange interesting. If you are a parent, "PHS" or "Proud" or whatever, you are so off base in your support of Judy Needham and her proxy, Cecelia Speer. You also seemed obsessed with Joe Palazzolo. Yes, I am a teacher. Yes, I love teaching. Yes, I love the children. Yes, I love my job. No, I will not give my real name because I hate what Judy Needham and the Board is doing to what's left of FWISD. Yes what was exposed at AHHS is just the tip of the iceberg. People like you are blind. You have NO CLUE what Needham is really doing to this School District behind the scenes. CIA needs to begin publishing the Teacher statements from the Palazzolo trial. Maybe that will open your eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  18. You poor, poor, bitter person. Bless your heart. You haven't a clue what's been going on do you?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Amen. Soon she will have help: Aguilar and LaBeau.

  20. I gave money to the band, walked with the band, and gave a $1000 scholarship to one of your graduating seniors last year. I've also attended PTA meetings. Not a lot, but always available when asked.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Um. Excuse me but "You can't let him go" is more appropriately directed at Judy Needham. Don't know where you've been but "Joe" has dragged on for 5 years. Needham looks like she intends to drag it on another 5. Already spent millions in taxpayer $$ on legal fees to repeatedly loose. I'm sure "Joe" just wants to move on. Pay him the Jury award and be done with it. This vendetta will be her undoing.

  22. Paschal is represented by three of us.I also represent voters in two other pyramids in District 6. (I contribute to them also). Over 70% of my voters are below I-20,. I believe more teachers live in District 6 than any other trustee district in FWISD.

    ReplyDelete
  23. You sound confused. If you really are from Paschal, I don't think Needham is your representative. Is "Paschal" running for something against the rest of the city? Prevail in what?

    ReplyDelete
  24. PHSParent, it's really no use arguing with the Suther-ites on this blog, because it's their way or the highway. I think they rather enjoy getting people like you and me here so they can call us names, tell us we're smoking crack, are clueless or even accuse us of being people we are not. In my heart I'm sorry for their vile manners, pettiness and lack of open-mindedness.

I hope Ann isn't going into Paschal, because it isn't a school in district 6. Of course she does represent several Paschal feeder schools, so maybe she shows up on campus from time to time for events. I do agree it's time for Ann to go. On this blog it's heresy to suggest such a thing, but just because she is an "educator" and airs out board business on her blog doesn't mean she is suited to hold an elected board position with fiduciary responsibility. She simply doesn't seem to understand or care how a board should work and how to work with her fellow board members. Based on her sometimes-clueless and ill-timed comments during board meetings, I'm sure she needs a refresher course in Robert's Rules of Order. Take for example the motion she made at a recent board meeting about SCAs. I'm not trying to debate the merits of SCAs, only the manner in which she made her motion. It appeared as if her motion was not the same one she had just agreed to support with the other trustees in executive session. She instead choose to make her own ill-worded motion in public session, which pretty much created confusion, if not chaos. At first, no one was even going to second her motion, which would have caused it to fail without discussion, until Tobi Jackson came to her rescue so discussion could occur. You could tell the other board members were exasperated with Ann. Her alternative motion served no purpose other than to drag out the long meeting even longer. That's just one of many examples. Let's also not forget that she has voted for many of the same proposals that people here knock the other board members for supporting. Why does she get a free pass from this blog when the others get flogged?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Two more significant things: 1. Because of my work secure artificial turf at FWISD's other schools, I think Paschal and AHHS's booster clubs will be compensated for the money they put in. 2. I also assisted a group of Tanglewood parents in 2013 who wished to control the enrollment of out-of-district students and otherwise assist in the control of enrollment at Tanglewood. Tanglewood parents will remember the big meeting which included many parents, Mayor Betsy and Mrs. Needham and myself.

This election is not between Mrs. Needham and me; she's served longer and has done a lot more for AHHS and PHS than I have. The question of consequence, it seems to me, is which District 6 candidate is better for District 6 and FWISD as a whole.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Actually, no one is running Paschal. Have you been over there in a while? It's a zoo and being run into the ground. Thank goodness for the teachers there. PHS admin are wack jobs with agendas all their own.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well I'm a PHS Parent and a teacher! Paschal is new to our family and thankful I don't teach there. I don't know personally anything about the administration other than this: THERE IS NO DRESS CODE! Absolutely crazy seeing young girls get out of $50k + vehicles and dressed like prostitutes! Having money at that school may be the norm but rest assure there's very little parenting! Or administration control (at least not of students anyway) one of my child's friends had her car keyed and sugar put in the gas tank. Apparently, the person responsible posted her hanis act on social media but, no disciplinary action of any kind! Any guess why? Hard not to notice that it was one of the more privileged students!

    ReplyDelete
  28. If everyone could please ignore posters like PHSParent and Proud PHS. All they seem to be doing is distracting from the real issues by posting outrageous comments. If they're ignored, they'll go away.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes, huge problem. Kids will take as much rope as they are given. Why isn't the PHS parent community demanding standards and structure? Faculty is afraid of retaliation-a real phenomenon there.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I would absolutely be the first parent to stand up and demand structure but, my child would be left to endure the fall out. My child participates in one of the more popular "extras" at Paschal and I won't have that be jeopardized for anything. I've been in this district long enough to have seen what happens to the innocent and my child deserves to have a good high school experience just as those privileged students. It's been extremely tough, I cannot lie!!!! I'm known for standing up and standing out in this district but, my child asked for me not to speak out! So, for now I hold my tongue and I just document and collect neat little pics and video that still continue to SHOCK me to the core! Thank God I'm in elementary!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow, Fed Up, very sweet. Not going away. PHS parents, teachers, voters, taxpayers, real estate moguls, and brown-nosers. Jump right in.

    ReplyDelete
  32. You changed your name again? This must be Babs Griffin who has to somehow pay Needham back for waiving the residency requirement. Did you get the Cadillac approved last Tuesday?

    ReplyDelete
  33. You AGAIN? I though you said you weren't coming back. No matter you are all one in the same person using different names.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Look like I struck a cord. Typical "bully" mentality. Can dish it, but can't take it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yes, it's like trying to avoid rubbernecking at the car wreck. It's hard to do. I'll just come back in limited doses in order to maintain my sanity and not get my hands too dirty with all the vile and filth people like to spew on this site. If you are going to try and insult me, at least attempt to make some sense. Yes it is me again, the one and only, the bearer of facts not fiction, and no matter who you fancy I am, you couldn't even get close to the truth in a million years. No, correct that. A TRILLION years. Why should I go to the trouble to switch back and forth with fake identities like most of the Suther-ites on this blog? One fake I.D. is enough for me to make my point. If it makes you feel better to dream I'm someone I'm not, go ahead. Who cares? But understand that attacks on posters here do nothing to advance whatever opinions you may wish to express.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Please keep it up! Your voice is no less important than the other people who post here with their personal and petty axes to grind. They like preaching to themselves and don't like it when different opinions are expressed (see Fed-up's post as proof of that). I only wish we could have civilized debates here without name calling, innuendos, veiled threats, et cetera, because it might actually lend some value to the school board races. As it is, people would rather hunker down and protect their positions, which makes me believe people like Confused, Fed-up and others are actually agents for Ann. Why else would they not welcome open, honest and respectful debate? Ann is no savior and has her own flaws. But who says anyone is perfect? Certainly not me. Many posters claim to be educators, and we wonder why many of our schools are under performing. God help us all.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh, right, first line of defense -- accuse someone who expresses a difference of opinion from the Suther-ites of being someone in administration or a board member. That's so tired. Give it up and accept the fact that there are many people who disagree with some of the opinions being expressed on this blog. If Confused doesn't want open and honest debate and just wants to interact with other Suther-ites like herself, then just block all of us out!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Paschal is District 8 represented by Avila. The high school pyramids do not match up with board member districts, thus most high school pyramids have multiple trustees representing schools that feed into them. Paschal itself is represented by Avila, while Sutherland and Needham represent schools that feed into Paschal. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would say rock on! But I'd be accused of being a druggy.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I didn't call names or state that your opinions were wrong just outrageous. There was no cord to be struck. I simply said that you should be ignored. After this comment I'll take my own advice and you shall ignore your comments.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ok, I have to post on this. I live in Stop Six, yes we read this too. So my son spent two days in in school suspension for a dress code violation at Dunbar HS, yet the predominantly white Paschal HS lets kids dress like prostitutes? So is this institutional racism? Parents and teachers are too afraid to demand enforcement of the rules? Are you kidding me? Who is running that school? Elite parents? Has no one reported this to central admin? Where is the board member on this? How about the media?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Actually, Why don't PHS Parent/Proud PHS, Educatethis15, and Geez all read the next story on Needham. It is very, very, brief. Then read the trial exhibit at the first link. It's factual. Ceceilia Speer was one of the first to read it (after Menchaca and Reyna) but in her usual way she did what Needham told her to do and ignored it. Then MJ read it and then EVERY Board Member starting with Needham herself, Robbins and ever faithful Tobi. Every one of them ignored it and then helped cover up and get even, Their ability to vette Palazzolo and AHHS was about as good as Boyd. Sadly, that is why FWISD is still going down the drain. When you read it remember that Perry was texting the photograph of herself in bed with Needham during the school day to every coach on campus - in class or on the field, with Neta Alexander standing right there. Yes, She's all about kids.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yes. That was the whole problem at AHHS. Read the teacher statements in the next story. Adults SHOOTING at kids and teachers; coming INTO classrooms and threatening teachers (they were not parents); ANGLO children of doctors and TCU big shots getting caught with drugs and guns in their cars and nothing happened to them. It went all the way to the top - not just MJ - Judy Needham. Read for yourself. It all came out at trial.

    ReplyDelete
  44. You sound about as informed on this subject as you were on Boyd.

    ReplyDelete
  45. You are a druggy call it like it is!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I understand. Those pesky FACTS just always get in the way.

    ReplyDelete
  47. "I would rather be drunk than blind." -- Yelawolf. Applies here, don't you think?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Stop Six Mommy, yes it's racism and it's at Paschal too. Black and brown are treated differently! We experience it daily from coaches and administration. We aren't exempt just because we are at Paschal. The color of your skin and your parents bank account seem to be the main criteria. Tell you what, don't take my word for it. When it warms up a bit, drive by when students are arriving and you judge for yourself! I couldn't believe that this was allowed!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Dress is in the eye of the beholder. I doubt the girl was literally dressed that way, but I wouldn't doubt she was dressed provocatively. The problem isn't with the ethnicity of the school, it's with the individual principals and the lack of support by administration who won't let the schools kick students out for assault, much less dress code violations. Dunbar may be the exception and I applaud them for trying. I don't know how Walker can get away with punishing students when other principals get slapped down for students missing class time. I, for one, wish we had uniforms in high schools. It would eliminate most of the drama and competition.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I see with all of your blah blah blah, you fail to entertain that it's possible I could be spot on! Listen, I fail to see how 5" stilettos and a skirt that was skin tight is anything but DAY WALKER attire! It was bad enough that I remember thinking, that can't be a student!?!? Then I saw but cheeks out of shorts and much more but, again GO TAKE A LOOK when it warms up! I'm sure I'm not the only one to point this out either.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Being crazy and a bitch are assets.
I think if you read teacher statements about Joe...in support of his leadership and got to know him...you would know he didn't want to move directly to litigation. He simply believed Coach Perry was undermining the staff at AHHS and demonstrating unprofessional conduct with our kids at AHHS. I had a child at AHHS who graduated in 2010. I had some serious issues with Neta Alexander's leadership style. On one occasion, I had written a note on my professional letterhead explaining why my daughter needed to be excused for an ortho appointment which was not accepted. The explanation being the note had to be from the dentist for absence to be excused! Everyone who has read anything about AHHS now knows the attendance fraud committed under Neta Alexander's direction. A second encounter was with Mr. Sabotin, the award winning teacher, alleged to be involved with a student. AHHS campus was out of control on many, many levels. What adds insult to injury is Judy Needham was aware of ALL of the mismanagement and did nothing to bring matters to the administration's attention. Ms. Needham's relationships with AHHS staff was too cozy. If Joe had been treated fairly by administration he would never have entered a lawsuit. Furthermore, his case is used by the district's former legal representatives as a case study in "how NOTt to fire an employee". If you don't believe me, look it up on the internet. Finally, invite me to one of your organizations meetings. I welcome the opportunity to present my platform to any and all groups concerned with FWISD's educational status and financial status.

    ReplyDelete
  52. What voters need to understand is that when FWISD says they are "self insured" it means they have NO malpractice insurance. Therefore legal defense fees are being paid from the general fund or reserve fund.....taxpayer dollars. I hope FWISD has general liability insurance to cover "slip and fall" types of claims. I wish an accountant would do a forensic audit of the district because when all of the financial mistakes are added together against the budget to debt ratio.....FWISD is facing a serious financial situation and the burden will be laid at the taxpayer's feet.

  59. "Dress is in the eyes of the beholder". That's call situational ethics. The best example is Tobi Jackson. Eastern Hills (failing school for 6 years) is good enough for YOUR child but its NOT good enough for mine. That's why I'm on the Board.

    ReplyDelete
  60. What is running Paschal is 100% the gay/lesbian agenda. Warm and fuzzy, let's make the kids feel good agenda. Disgusting and wrong-headed. Comes from the top (and the top of the top) and is a "everyone has rights" mentality. And for the record, the white population there is NOT the majority (by numbers) anymore. And hasn't been for a good while.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I don't believe I've ever made a statement about Boyd other than to say it wasn't right for Ann to publish anonymous letters from people claiming to know bad things about Boyd, so I'm not sure what you are insinuating.

  62. Don’t leave out Ann Sutherland. There are
videos on this site from her district as well.
And don’t forget she said on this site that she shares Paschal’s

you are blaming trustees for student fights that, for the most part, are occurring
    off FWISD property? SMH

  67. SMH. Twisting words. What one person would say is a revealing dress (too short, too low, etc.) might be considered conservative to someone else. Those judgement calls have to be made every day at schools, and it isn't about "situational ethics." That's a misuse of the word "ethics" anyway. And get your facts straight. Eastern Hills passed all four standards under Mrs. Washington and would have passed last year had there not been a documentation problem for one of the criteria. That has been spelled out in numerous forums.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Why Trustees? Because under State Law and Policy THEY are RESPONSIBLE. Law and Policy BBE Legal (Board Authority): "
have the exclusive power and duty to govern and oversee the management of the public schools of the District. Education Code 11.151" Attendance zones vs, District's? Gerrymandering is a tradition with Needham. Without it, Robbins could not sit on the Board with her. "Most part occurring off FEWISD Property"? Now we know you are not in Education and are blind. LOOK at the videos: Main entrance of Paschal, restroom at Rosemont Middle. Say what you will about Palazzolo but he went off Campus to bring back runaways, break up fights, even prevent minor girls from being taken by adult male "friends". Your children are failing and are in CONSTANT DANGER while this Board are more concerned with personal agendas and what they can get. A Board Member's child needs to be in the schools that person represents. Millions being spent on litigation and retaliation should be spent in the classroom. We Need CHANGE! Vote Sutherland, La Beau and Aguilar.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Aren't you the clever one. Can't hide from the truth forever. Children are in danger. This Board needs to go.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Not trying to be clever. Just trying to point out facts, unlike most people on this site.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Your facts are wrong on EHHS. Go check them again. They met all four criteria under Ms. Washington after she and her team revived the school. And what you may call too revealing the next person may call just fine. Somethings are not in a grey area, such as see through clothing, sagging pants, but other things are open for debate. Let's have a call for high school dress codes and we won't be having this debate. It would be good for parents and faculty, if not the students who would revolt.

    ReplyDelete
  72. So exactly how would Ann or Linda address the fight videos? Did these not happen under Ann's current watch? I'd like for Ann and Linda to state here how they would address the issue. They have been participating in the posts.

    ReplyDelete
  73. As stated clearly by Call to Action, the Board is absolutely responsible including wasting millions on continued litigation instead of putting that money in our classrooms .

    ReplyDelete
  74. Here are some of the facts: https://www.facebook.com/FortWorthFights

    ReplyDelete
  75. Can't take responsibility can you?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Actually they happened under Needham's watch and have had for years. That is what the AHHS scandal was all about.

    ReplyDelete
  77. YOU may want to check your facts as to why she left EHHS

    ReplyDelete
  78. I understand and am not going to argue that. However, the fight posts have occurred under Ann's watch as well.

  79. Teachers for ChangeMarch 7, 2015 at 9:33 AM

The "FACTS" are FWISD is being DESTROYED by Needham, Robbins, Jackson, and the power structure of which Cecelia Speer was part. ANYONE who naively thinks they are interested in children suffers a similar fate as Palazzolo.
This BOARD needs to go including Avila, Ramos and Paz - the latest sell-outs. Unless you are content to see it fail.

    ReplyDelete
  80. You are absolutely right Educate This 15 and I am Certain that every teacher (except those who have lost their passion) would agree that every child should have support at home and every child should be taught right from wrong at home! Go ahead ask any teacher to say that is what we believe! Unfortunately we do not have the power nor the means to make that so! In the meantime what do you propose we do? I saw the videos and I was shocked! Are you saying that administration is not responsible? I'm not sure if you paid attention to the number of minutes that this video was recorded then you might have asked yourself this question: that front office is so very close to the front doors with that fight took place. How was it allowed to go on for 2 full minutes with shouting and screaming? Not to mention all those students watching and where was the security? The administration in that building, counseling, security, etc. is fairly large in numbers and nobody stepped in? In the corporate world, you don't do your job THEN YOU DONT HAVE a job!!! Administrators need to be held accountable! DO RIGHT! If the BOE and the Superintendent don't manage them, then who? Are you purposefully being ignorant?!?!? So are you taking the stance of: Schools failing are due to SHITTY parenting so we will just try and manage their diarrhea best we can. We can accomplish this by inflating our salaries in administration, no support for teachers and a "survivalist mentality" for our students: only the strongest survive!

  81. No, no, I wasn't going there at all. I simply meant to point out that schools do not have enough administrators, campus monitors or security posted to be everywhere at all times. Things can spring up in a second and be over in a minute. Many times the kids are "posing" during fights just waiting for someone to step in and break it up. That way they don't really have to fight and risk getting hurt, but they save face in front of classmates by making it look like they are willing to fight. Believe it or not, some kids will even admit they wait until school to fight because they know the odds of staff letting them get hurt is less than if the fight occurs on the street, where no one is going to step in and stop it. Yes, this was in front of the school, but without reviewing it again I thought it was by the auditorium and not the main entrance, which is about 75 yards away. You might think a staff member would have seen it and stepped in or called for security, but maybe it occurred after school or even lunch when staff is spread thin. For all I know, these students were caught and punished, but the tape just shows the fight. I would hope that if no staff caught the fight while it was happening that they were able to review video to see who was involved and take action afterward. I've had principals who would punish students caught on video who were filming a fight on their cell phones, which is against district policy. I've never seen staff stand around and let a fight just happen unless they, themselves, were fearful of the situation

  82. You are SO lame! PHS is Avila's school.

    ReplyDelete
  83. You did under your other name.

    ReplyDelete
  84. SiMH, let me take it slower so you can understand. No school board trustee is responsible for students who choose to fight one another, whether it's on school property or off site. I guess you also think parents should go to jail if their child commits an assault? Now, if you want to argue that the board could set a policy with teeth that would remove children who fight from schools, that's another thing, but I doubt TEA or the legal system would permit it.

    ReplyDelete
  85. What are you talking about? I guess you're trying to be clever? You're just making random comments.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Hired by DISD to oversee principals at every school...the year after EHHS met all four criteria. This is public information, so if you were truly an EHHS teacher you would know this fact, so clearly you are not.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wow, you people amaze me. I don't have to change names like all of you people. I can stand by the comments I make on my one username alone, thank you. If that's the only comeback you have to offer, just save your keyboard the wear and tear.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I just reviewed the Paschal video, and it is indeed at the far south entrance by the auditorium, not the "front" entrance as someone mistakenly said. These are probably at least 75-100 yards apart from each other. Plus, the trees are much smaller than they are today, so these videos must be pretty old.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yes Losing Ground, my child goes there so, I'm very aware of the approx. diversity ratios! Not sure why those "feel good" doers do not apply that to the students of color?!?! Here's something to ponder:??? Why don't we see that diversity on some of Paschal's teams playing. How many of our 60 cheerleaders are students of color? Less than 10%. The majority may not be Anglo but there's clearly disparity in the treatment of them.

  90. Then why is Judy being blame you idiot!

    ReplyDelete
  91. I wonder how many of these post are actually Linda and Ann renaming themselves? Funny is that when we make a statement that disagrees with them we get blasted. If we ask a viable question, almost no responses! So here goes. The Facebook Fort Worth fight keeps getting posted and blamed on Judy. So what would Ann (who should currently be attempting to stop this) or Linda do to make a change? It's an honest question.

    ReplyDelete
  92. You really have NO CLUE do you? Who do you think id running FWISD? (Hint: READ the above e-mail)

    ReplyDelete
  93. You already asked this. Cuts both ways and I agree. I believe you already admitted you are PHS Proud and PHS Parent. Both Linda and Ann post in their own names.

    ReplyDelete
  94. OMG! Is it on CAMPUS or not? You are SO LAME. Exactly what we are talking about. Duh. Maybe you should look at the date. Does it matter? I'll ask students to begin posting more recent events. You are REALLY pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I don't know who you are but if you are a Board Member or in Education, we need to get you out ASAP. These are children Moron. Keep hiding, cutting deals and collecting gratuities. You are sick.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Agree. There are also fights on that site from Ann's schools. Blaming trustees for fights is like blaming parents if their child commits a crime.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Read Judy's post where she states that she, Avila and Needham share Paschal because they rep Paschal feeder schools. Her words, not mine.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Please read the discussion strings before making a fool out of yourself. Someone specifically said the "main entrance" of Paschal," not "campus." I was just pointing out the difference because the poster was complaining that lots of staff are by main entrance and should have stepped in. As to the post dates of the videos, it's obvious the dates don't match up to what the commentator is writing. Neither does the size of the trees in the background, but whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Sorry Ann, but it has not changed if anything it has gotten worse. The kids now post on other sites and this Board CONTINUES to drag out and waste money on Palazzolo while treating the rest of us like dirt. Paschal like everywhere else is in chaos. The product of uncontrolled nepotism from Principal on up. You have been the one beacon of light in the darkness. Thanks but you need to demand more. End Palazzolo. Demand a vote.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I will ask for a report on these fights if you send me links. I know they are burying a lot of misbehavior of kids. I hadn't realized it was getting so bad.

RE Palazzolo, one case is on appeal and the one involving Dansby will be up in Dec. according to the last word we got.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Ann you have no idea how much is being hidden through mountains of paperwork before anything is being done to discipline students. A student pushed a teacher and only had his scheduled changed. That's assault for crying out loud. They didn't even send him for a rrd party hearing. Earlier in the year, he broke a window and just got 3 days. Our schools are becoming more dangerous daily.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Can you report the name of the student and the school?

    ReplyDelete
  103. I dont know how I could do that without facing retaliation. Not from you but administration. You more than anyone understands how things are. Thats why we appreciate your hard work.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I understand. But links to videos still will help.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Now Ann, I totally respect you and I support you but no teacher could put a sudent's name on this blog. That's a FERPA violation however, if you need someone to point you in the right direction, you might look at Paschal. I'm not certain that the previous comment was about Paschal specifically because my child told me an eerily similar tale. I would add however that my child said the student was expelled. Then again it's possible that my child wanted me to believe that because in the short time at that school I've had to contain my frustration. I know it's high school but, I had some idealistic belief that it would be different. For the record, many fights take place at Paschal THIS YEAR!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Yes they. Unfortunately no video on this. All we can hope is that no one gets hurt if the kid gets violent again. NSA, not Paschal.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I, as an employee, am refusing to accept responsibility for what? I am accepting responsibility for everything I post here. You are just throwing crap on the wall and hoping something sticks. I should lay claim to the disguised employee name...disgusted at you for wasting my time.

    ReplyDelete
  108. First rule of debate: pick one point and argue it. I was writing about the fight site, not litigation, wasting money or not putting money in classrooms.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ann you said; "...according to the last word we got." Doesn't sound like the Board is making the decisions. Isn't there a separate suit over the appeal? Is it true Palazzolo offered to waive all damages he won if he were reinstated? Was there a vote on this? What is the purpose of the appeal? Does the Board want a new trial? We all know Needham is driving this as the following story illustrates, but after 5 years, is the Board still taking advise from the same attorneys?

    ReplyDelete
  110. And the proof nothing has changed for Teachers and Administrators is Whittaker. Her case should have gone before the Board according to Policy and when that failed, even your request that her grievance be placed on the agenda was denied by Robbins. Its just like the Palazzolo appeal. Where was the transparency in that? The Public vote? What is the purpose in dragging his case out? You appealed the Commissioner's order to District Court and when the Board lost there, you appealed that. What a WASTE OF MONEY. All so Judy Needham can save face. Same with Whittaker. You allowed her to be treated like a dog and thought she was gone. She is not alone, Chavez contracted cancer from the stress FWISD put her through; others have died or committed suicide. There is a long list of mistreated Teachers and Administrators over the past 5 years. Karma is coming for FWISD.

    ReplyDelete
  111. This is one place the board IS making all the decisions. I said, "according to the last word we got" because there have been occasions when the attorneys have received communications re scheduling, etc., that we did not get. I asked that we receive all communications from attorneys and as far as I know we have been getting them. But if there were a change in schedule (which isn't critical) it's possible an attorney forgot to forward it.
We did change attorneys several years ago; we used to have Walsh, Anderson and now we have Tom Brandt's company. But we haven't changed attorneys for several years.
I can't comment on any offers or counteroffers; this would be very improper.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Brandt's Firm has been involved from the beginning. They were present when Whitt was pulled from the witness stand into a room and told he was going to be terminated; they were there when Tatum was threatened with arrest. So if you are stating that the Board "....IS making all of the decisions" we are CORRECT in holding the BOARD accountable for dragging this out. So why not public disclosure or vote on the appeal? Why are you not DEMANDING there be an end to this and other cases?

    ReplyDelete
  113. What is the daily interest on this judgment since the trial ended a year ago?

    ReplyDelete
  114. The only FOOL here is you - all of you who are using the same name but can't remember how you spelled it.

    ReplyDelete
  115. It is 8% and depends on the final judgment I believe. Based on the initial $2.4 million, the interest is $192,000 per year.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I have never commented other than under my own name and don't intend to start.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I have sent a request for all Paschal HS office referrals and their disposition.

    ReplyDelete
  118. There was also pre-judgment interest and legal fees on top of the 2.4 none of which has been paid - all of which are accruing interest.

    ReplyDelete
  119. What? What kind of twisted logic is that? What in the hell do you think you are there for?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Sure. Until your child is a victim.

    ReplyDelete
  121. 1. You don't have to be here;
    2. You are wasting our time defending the indefensible - an inept Board.

    ReplyDelete
  122. You CAN'T possibly be that ignorant. ISD's swap dirty laundry all the time. Like the Board trying to hire Shaver for SHHS after she was fired by DISD.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Of all 124 comments on this story thus far, the most important called attention to Molly Hryr who obviously was supporting Needham's Bond agenda and then would up as her campaign manager. That is after her long time manager moved over to run Speer's campaign.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I meant Ann, not Judy. My mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I believe in being a parent. I control what clothes are in my children's closet, how they leave dressed in the morning, appropriately punish them if they are disrespectful, miss class or are tardy...you know, the things most parents today don't do. And I am my children's staunchest supporter and would live in the principal's office if I thought they were being taken advantage of. If one of them was in an unprovoked fight, I would start by asking the principal to review security camera footage and take action. If off campus, I would visit the other child's household and make sure his/her parents knew charges would be pressed if it ever happened again.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Tell you what Ignorant, you don't post to me and I won't post to you. If I could block you from my feed, I would.

  127. Former FWISD CoachMarch 10, 2015 at 6:07 AM

    I was a Teacher at AHHS where the "Principal" acted more like a socialite with Judy Needham than a Campus Leader. I witnessed an absolutely out of control Athletic Director who was left in charge of the Campus - ALWAYS. She was busted by the Star Telegram Watchdog for stealing gate receipts at athletic events but Needham protected her. She ran the Booster Club and kept their check book. That too was covered up. Her antics with Judy, co-workers and children are well detailed in the statements above. CPS looked the other way. We had 5 A.P.'s : two never left their office and were notorious for selectively "fixing" attendance and discipline. Two rarely left their office which was a hang out for girls cutting class. One who was constantly walking halls, the campus, and classrooms;
responded to every call for help and whom EVERY Teacher relied on. When he reported wrongdoing at "Judy's school" she made it her mission in life to destroy him. It didn't work. We rallied in support of him and justice was awarded by a Judge and Jury. This Board is still dragging his case out for spite at taxpayer expense. Even Ann is content to allow this travesty to continue. THIS was in one school. It is happening all over FWISD. THAT is the School Board.
